4 hours 'till Matthew's wedding. My best friend. The love of my life. I can't wait for the "speak now or forever hold your peace". It's now or never. I run over to Matthew's room, knocking before entering nervously.
"(Y/N), my sweet, can you believe it? I'm getting married!" He smiles, adjusting his coat.

"Yes...you are. Which is why I have to tell you this. Now." I say as I sit in the chair by the window.

"What is it? We're bestfriends, you can tell me anything!" He says kneeling in front of me as I avoid eye contact.

"Matthew I......I...." I turn to look at him, placing a hand gently on his cheek.

"You what?" He asks smiling coyly.

"I love you. I always have. I can't let you marry Tiffany. She'll never love you as much as I do. Marry me." I rush out before ramming my lips on his. He kisses me passionately before pulling away, a tear rolling down his face.

"(Y/N) I... you're my bestfriend. But Tiffany.. (Y/N) she's perfect for me. I'm sorry...I love you. But not how I love her. I'm sorry..." He says as more tears come out of his eyes. "Please don't be mad." He says as you stand up, walking to the door.

"Oh Matt, I'm not mad. I'm just hurt. I hope you're happy with Tiff. Have a great wedding. I love you, but I gotta get the fuck out of here." I laugh brokenly, running down the stairs and out the house to my blood red mustang. I just keep driving and driving. Stopping at a waterfall in the forest. I guess if you love someone, you have to let them go..
