After about 4 hours of playing video games and fighting over who won what and if it was a cheap kill or not and just about smashing an electronic guitar. We decide to settle on a movie called Insidious. A horror we both love.

With in those four hours I figured out that Adrian is emancipated and lives on his own. Also that he's been through several orphanages and that all his foster parents were horrible people and his favorite writer is Edgar Allen Poe. He loves punk and rock and heavy metal music which  is a major bonus on my part. He seems like a really sweet kid and at the same time very messed up and needing a good sense of direction.

So it was 2:oo pm. by the time we finished playing video games and 4:30 by the time the movie was over the rest of the time we spent taking a walk around town and just talking and quoting things from old Disney movies and singing lyrics to songs, just having a good time.

We walked around for 2 hours and got 6:30 to find my friends on my front porch waiting for me to get home.

I walk up the steps, Adrian close behind me "Hey guys." I say and Joselyn gets up and basically tackle hugs me and says "Mummie!" and I laugh and Megan gives me a hug and turns to Joselyn and says "Don't you touch my fucking wife!" wile waving her finger in Joselyn's face and to no one surprise Joselyn licks Megan's finger.

You see, Since the 8th grade, Megan, Joselyn, my friends Kacee and Olivia, Myra, Jena have been part of a 'family.' Megan is my husband and Joselyn and Olivia are our children and Kacee is my mother, and Myra is Megan's mother and my mother in law, Jena is Kacee's husband and my father and...I'm pretty sure that's it.

And last but not least my best friend Creed hugs me really tightly. You see Creed is gay...Well he turned gay and he's been with me since I was 12 he's now in the 12th grade and 18 years old and I helped him out of a relationship that he had with a girl who was terrible about him talking to other girls (She didn't like me to much) even though she talked to "hot" guys all the time and deleted her messaged between them. So after Creed go out of that he turned gay because girls were to much trouble. Which I'm glad he found a positive alternative to a bad thing.

"How long have you guys been here?" I ask.

"About 10 minutes." Megan says

"Oh!" I say "Well come inside." I unlocked the door and let everyone in.

Well I guess it's time to introduce everyone. So I follow them all into my kitchen and Megan and Creed sit at the table Joselyn goes for the fridge and Adrian sticks close to me.

"Okay everyone," I began "This is Adrian." He nods and gave a low wave. "Adrian, Megan. Megan, Adrian."

"Hey. I like your face. " She says causing him to give a little grin. "Um...thanks."

"Adrian, Joselyn. Joselyn, Adrian."

Joselyn being her weird self jumps in front of him causing him to grab my forearm im shock "Konichiwa." Joselyn loves anime and tends to speak in Japanese sometimes. Adrian pauses "Hey." he smiles and waves.. Joselyn looks at me, turned to Adrian and gave him a giant hug and said in an overjoyed voice "He knows the ways of the anime." Bowed to him. And turned back to the fridge to look for something.

"Adrian, Creed. Creed, Adrian."

Creed gets up casually and walks over and puts an arm around Adrian and says "If you touch my girlfriend I wont hesitate to kill you."

"Please," I say, "In your dreams." I push his arm off of Adrian, and pulled Adrian towards me and whispered in his ear that John was gay. He nods understanding.

"Don't worry. I wont touch her." Adrian says as he slips an arm around my waist. John glares at him and I laugh.

"I don't know about you guys. But I'm starving!" I say.

"No shit! I'm just fucking rummaging around in your fridge for some air to eat!" Joselyn says to me and everyone busts up laughing and she starts giggling a little.

"ALRIGHT! Let's make food!" Joselyn and I cheer and start dancing in circles. Megan puts her phone on an audio jack hooked up to some speakers and blasts music as we all make chicken tacos for Megan because that's the only food she eats and we make actual tacos for the rest of us and joke around and laugh and scream lyrics at the top of our lungs and act retarded. Even Adrian joined to fun and felt welcome. 

We all sit down to eat and Joselyn says a prayer and then we all act stupid again talking about all the stupid stuff we did at school that year, Like spray painting 'stupid hooker' on all "the whores" lockers as Joselyn says, and getting isolated lunch everyday and talking until we got in trouble just to see how long we would keep getting isolated lunch (needless to say the teachers gave up and let us sit at actual tables again.) But the best day of all was when we...well we weren't even in school but we were at Walmart and Joselyn pushed me and John pushed Megan around in shopping carts all around the store and yelled "The British are coming! The British are coming!" Over and ever again and greeted people at the door saying "Welcome to Walmart. Your gonna die probably." 

Then out of no where (and mind you I was sitting across from this person as she was taking a drink) Joselyn says "What do you call a nun in a wheel chair?" And we all shrug. "Virgin Mobile!" Joselyn says and Megan Spit her drink all over...John. She doesn't spit it forward or anything. No. She has to fucking turn her head and spit it ALL out on John and we all die laughing.

We finish eating and we clean up the kitchen and do the dishes together and then we all sit down in the living room that's still a mess from earlier with me and Adrian. We all sit on the couch in an awkward silence.

"So...what do you guys want to do?" I ask. Joselyn instantly says to watch anime, Megan is busy snap chatting her boyfriend and  Creed is still thinking and he comes up with video games and Adrian says Truth or dare. Adrian lays his head in my lap and puts his feet on Megan and Megan is leaning on Joselyn and I'm leaning on Creed.

We browse through Netflix and couldn't find anything that we could agree on, so we all decide on a game and, go figure, it's Guitar Hero.

Adrian and I both groan and then laugh. "Just freaking great!" I say and look at him.

"Hey where's your bathroom?" Adrian asks. "It's uh...up the stairs down the hall and to the right." I say.

"Will you come show me?" He asks, "I get lost pretty easily."

"I give him a curious look "Okaaaay?" We both get up off the couch and Joselyn and Megan look at us weird.

"I'm showing him where my bathroom is." I explain.

"Mhmmm." Joselyn says and moves her head in a circle. Megan just laughs and says "Okay."

As I walk away I Hear them both whisper/yell "Get some!"

I grab Adrian's hand and lead him up the stairs, down the hall and to the bathroom right where I said it was. He stops in front of the door and wraps his arms around my waist and whispers "Thank you." In my ear.

"For leading you to the bathroom?" I say genuinely confused. He laughs a little bit.

"No. For saving me and bandaging me up and...just giving me the best day that I've had in like 5 years."

"Oh." I smile "Your welcome. " He kisses my cheek. I smile even bigger as he nuzzles his head in my neck and kisses me there. He slowly, leaves a trail of kisses up my neck to my jaw line and finally landing on my lips he kisses me gently and hesitantly, but When I kiss back he kisses more passionately and deeply and I stop him before it goes any farther.

I pull back and he looks at me confused.

"We should head back before they start to wonder what happened." He nods and kiss me again "Lets go." He says.
