Your eyes fluttered open, instantly coming in contact with some movie that was definitely not on when you fell asleep. Cody's arms, however, were still wrapped around you and you were still in the clothes you'd spent nearly the entire day in.

Your arm subconsciously stretched out to grab your phone from Cody's bedside table and when your heart stoppex when you realized it what almost twelve in the morning, two hours past when you were actually supposed to be home.

"Shit. Shit. Shit," you whispered as you yanked yourself away from Cody who groaned at the sudden awakening.

You rushed around the room to find your shoes and car keys so you could get home as soon as possible.

"Where are you going?"

"Home," you rushed out, "You know, since I was supposed to be there two hours ago. You were supposed to wake me up!"

You sighed in relief as you found your left sandal underneath his bed. Cody groaned again.

"Just–just come get back in bed." He let out a long, sleepy breath.

Your body froze before you gained the strength to turn around and look at your boyfriend with curious eyes.

You two had only been dating for a few months and spending the night at each other's house had never happened, especially not on a random Thursday.

"What?"

And it took a minute for Cody to realize what he had said. "I mean—you should just...stay, like, the night," he answered awkwardly. His hand rubbed the side of his blushing face.

You smiled at how adorable he was, tossing your shoe back to the ground and moving to slip back into his bed. His arms almost instantly found their way back around you again, pulling you closer to him, and you cuddled into his chest, only taking a few minutes to fall back asleep.
