Frisk was skilled in her trade. She could make anyone believe her lies, as long as they never found out the truth that is... And usually they didn't. But sadly a school mate told everyone they knew every lie Frisk told, and now she only had very few friends, like 2. She got bored of this very fast and remembered the legend of the mountain... Monsters sealed underground for being cruel... People disappearing... Hm.... How...Interesting... She made up her mind, she would go and meet these monsters and get back home, if that was alone or with new 'friends' she hadn't decided yet. But she needed a weapon just in case right? A stick might work... But those tend to break to easy... What about that wooden pole in her dad's closest? He shouldn't mind having his clothes on the floor right? OH OF COURSE NOT! She would bring it back after all! So she took it early in the morning while he was still asleep and started the long trek up the mountain.
By the time she got to the hole in the mountain it was already nightfall...Her dad must be worried... Or not have noticed and been busy picking up the mess she made. She did break the fridge taking all the milk, pizza, and granola bars after all... "Monsters huh? Hee... Let's see how far I can get and who i can trick hm?" She said grinning like a mad man before jumping into the hole.
She landed with a painful thud, it took her a moment to really get over the fall. The dead weeds sure did not soften her landing. "Ow... Note to self.... Throw a lot of pillows before jumping down or off something..." She mumbled as she got off the ground, The room she was in was dark... It was wet... And it smelled really bad... But that didn't matter much to her, after all she would only be here for a short while.... or at least that is what she hopes...
She carefully made her way to the next room and found a beat up flower with a face crying softly in the much darker room. She walked closer before it noticed her and whipped it's head in her direction to see who was approaching it, the flower seemed surprised to see a human before it. "Haya~ What cha' cryin about there little bud?" Frisk asked jokingly, crouching down to it's eyelevel or as close as she could get. "Is something wrong?"
"P-Please don't k-kill me! I'll leave I- w-wait you're a human aren't you? What are you doing here?! It's n-not safe for humans! You have to get out of here before she come!" The flower has started of shaking in fear before a look of concern got added to it. She? Frisk had to wonder what the flower was talking about.
"She? She who? Ah uh. I ran away from my abusive step mommy! Oh she was horrible! You won't believe it she was jealous of me and how close I was to my daddy." Frisk started her own water works trying to get a bit of pity or at least not explain that she came here because she was just curious and had no friends because she was a horrible person. Either way the flower seemed to believe it, which was good, maybe?"O-Oh. . . I'm sorry. She as in th-the caretaker of the ruins Toriel, she's a horrible crazy woman who k-kills any children she finds. Y-You have to leave, you have to go, you. . . Oh right. . . There's no way to return the way you came. . ." The flower looked down sadly before a noise came from behind it and it quickly buryed it's self under ground to avoid what ever it was.
What it was turned out to be a giant goat woman with tattered clothes. "Oh! I human child. . . What a poooor thing. Are you. . . hurt?" The woman came closer to Frisk and she quickly stood up herself and looked up at the woman, she defiantly can't take this thing in a fight.
"Ah uh. . I'm fine, I fell down a hole, um running away from home." Frisk said quietly trying to give off the feel of a shy and nervous girl looking down at her shoes rather then up at the towering figure. "Um. . . Can you help me? I don't know where to go from here."
She looked back up at the woman to see a sick look on her face before the look shifted to compassion, what was it the flower said? This lady kills kids? "Oh. . . But of course I can. I'm Toriel Caretaker of the ruins. You poor child. Come I shall take you to my home, and uh. . . teach you how things work." Oh that's good, right? It has to be, after all she wasn't dead yet. The goat woman walked off and Frisk waited a moment to see if the flower came which it did.
"You can't go with her! She kills humans once they're comfortable at her house! You have to believe me!" The flower screamed loudly probably loud enough for the woman to hear in the other room. For a nervous and seemingly cowardly flower it sure seemed to care a lot. Can plants care? Frisk wished she payed more attention in class when they did that experiment with pants and music now.
"Shush. She'll hear you, anyways is there a reason she does that?" Frisk as crossing her arms. "She defiantly has a few screws loose just based off her expressions, but she looked to actually care about what I said." she noted watching to doorway incase Toriel came back.
The flower sighed. "She lost her kids once and she's jealous of those who still have kids, she does it to get back at them I guess. . ." the flower sounded sad. "A-Anyways. I'm flowey the flower, and just to make it clear, around here it's kill or be killed so just. . ."
Frisk smiled at him? it? Flowey. "Hey then there's the solution. I'll just let her adopt me while I'm here! And you can come with me Flowey. Then we can help eachother." Was the idea idiotic probably, but seeing as the flower seemed lonely it shouldn't be to hard to get him on her side. "And look I'll even not kill anyone, you seem pretty afraid of that stuff soooo~ what do you say?"
He hesitated before looking down. "You're gonna get yourself killed, heck even me killed if I go with you." She watched him expectantly and when he looked up he nodded. "Alright. I'll go with you, uh human." She quickly picked him up and wrapped him around her arm before going off to the next room. Her adventure only just beginning.
