"Alex! Be quiet! You're going to get us caught!"
"My dear Laurens, have we ever been caught before?" Alexander said smugly.  The two revolutionaries crept over the hill to the British camp, giggling uncontrollably.
"Hello? Show yourself!" A British guard cautiously drew his gun.
"Who does this guy think he-" Hamilton started but Laurens clamped his hand over his mouth. "Intruders at the break front!" Laurens shouted in a false bravado. The guard scurried away, frantically loading his gun. "Quick!" Laurens grabbed Alex's arm and sprinted for the tent.
"You ignorant worm! They're in there!" The voice came from outside the weapons tent. John filled a sack with cannon balls as Alex started dragging the cannon. The guard along with another man in a red coat adorned in metals entered the tent to see the back of the rebel's home-spun blue coats bounding off with the cannon. The red coats fired from a distance but their cannon was already gone. Alex and John rolled in the grass, giddy with victory! They frolicked and pranced until they collapsed under a fig tree.
"My dear Laurens, will you always stay with me?" Alexander layed his head on laurens's chest.
"Always"
