Kendra paced around the room, her head looking at the carpet in the process of it.
How did she even get herself into this mess? It was one mangy boy crush that evolved into something... More. Well, they weren't really together. But he made her happy and she's positive he feels the same way, right? Those silly trips to the movies and coffee dates (emphasis on the word date) weren't just as friends, were they?
Maybe she was reading his signs wrong. But, he was so much more closer to her than he had even been with any other girl!
Kendra sighed, just about ready to give up until she heard her phone buzz loudly on her computer table. She practically had to stop herself from leaping over her bed, from her excitement.
