The definition of grief doesn't really cover all of the pain and sorrow. It's not just "deep sadness", it's excruciating pain that is always there. The pain never goes away. It's there, whether in the back of your mind or at the forefront of it.
Grief is like a constant stomach ache, even sometimes a headache. We never realize how painful losing someone, we never thought we could lose, would be. So when people tell you to "get over it" or "move on", don't listen to them. Everyone handles grief differently. That is what makes life so unique. Color outside of the lines, and don't be afraid to cry every once in a while.
