A Hard Life

Hi my name is Tira I am a rare species of animal/human that are called carnas
me and my sister are the last of our kind as far as we know. I am the kind of girl that never talks to many people except the ones I know. My sister Tatiana my  and my BFF's Zaysha and Nick. Zaysha is full human, like my dad but she doesn't seem to care that her best friend is half tiger and that my sister is half wolf (that is why we don't get along.) She actually finds it interesting that I can run extremely quick and have night vision along with retractable claws. I met Nick about 1 year ago even though he is 3 years older than me, we are very close friends we met on my local towns minecraft server he gave me diamonds so we became good friends. And Zaysha my first hand BFF we known each-other since birth, we close man. Now that you know something about me and my family lets get to the story.

"Ugh my head what happen'd  where am I , white walls white roof ,glass doors. No! it cant be is this the facility dad told me about NO NO NO!"

I start to yell and scream Hoping someone could save me. Wait whats that sound BEEP BEEP BEEP. I wake up jumbled up safe in my silky black bed my heart racing one hundred miles per hour and it was hard to breathe. I reach to get my glass of water on my bedside table and sip it slowly i can feel the cold drink slipping down my throat. It quickly calms me and make it easy to take a deep breath. When I finally get out of bed and go to the washroom and splash water all over my face to wake me up. I then walk down the stairs in my blood red skull pj's and tiger slippers. Just like that my day was ruined. There, right in front of me was the devil her self, my sister.

"Well is my goth sis finally awake" she said in a silly/perky voice

" I said this once and wont tell you any more I AM.....NOT.....GOTH was that loud and slow enough for you" i say as i hiss and take out my sharp claws,

"I know your not your emo oops" she said smiling

" I will definitely scratch your eyes out STOP"

"OK OK geez i was just joking you know me all fun and games" she said sounding nervous.

Finally the best two parts of the morning seeing dad and food , mostly the food though.

"Hey honey how was your sleep" he said as he puts a bunch of beans on my plate.

"Dad I know its it's hard to feed us both meat after mom died but get it in you head we don't eat plants we are carnivores tiger and wolf meat eaters OK!"  I said.

"Eh,sorry I forgot again" he said stuck in the memory of our mother.

My mother was found out and put in a facility she when't crazy and she killed her self. Thats why I hide my ears and tail with my leather jacket and just stuff my tail in my pants. We also have to hide the colored paw shaped birthmark on the back of my wrist, mine is red. I walk back up to my room and get ready for school I put on my short sleeve red plaid shirt and skull leggings. I then walk to the washroom and brush my teeth and Kept my hair messy and straight and then put the cover up on my birthmark. I then grabbed my lunch and put on my black leather jacket and my black combat boots. Before heading off to school I slip my hood over top my ears.

"Hey! Tira wait up did you forget that you said you would walk with me and Nick again!!?" Zaysha yells across the street embarrassing the heck out of me.

"Zaysha why do you have to yell every time I am far away from you, can't you wait till you get a bit closer, you always embarrass me when you do that" I say once we are walking all together quiet like always.

"Awe did I make the cute kitty mad" she said trying to cuddle me.

"Hey stop that remember what happened last time so don't you dare" I say as I hiss silently so Nick can't hear me.

"Hu? what did I miss oh is there going to be slap fight let me grab the popcorn" he smirks, distracted by his phone.

"Well here we are" Zaysha said as we approached the school building. She ran inside not to be late for class.

So I check my schedule to see what I have. Ugh, math a great way to start the school year (not). Hmm... maybe if im not late for class on the first day once again I might actually make a good first impression, then the teacher might like me. I laugh to my self in my head NAH!. I start to walk to my locker and of course interrupted, as I feel a hand grab my wrist and it wipes of the makeup reveling my birthmark. Shit! He might see my mark!

"Hey sweets what you doing" he says in a sexy sort of voice.

"Hey what the fuck, let me go and ,never call me sweets EVER again! And I don't even know your name you creep" I say trying not to take out my claws.

"Eh, the name is Mark"

"Well MARK, let me go please or I will kill you" I say asserting him.

"Gosh, fine" he lets me go and try's to follow me.

"Don't you dare" and as I say those words my eyes flash to cat and back to human.

Oh shit you think he saw that, nah it was too fast. I start to sprint down the hallway in case he did see it . Then once I got to my locker I calmed my self down the best I could and went to class.

2 hours later

Ugh finally math is over! I then check my schedule. YES gym woo hoo I say in my head gym is the only class I try not to be late for. I then run to the filed and once again the first one there.

"OK class we will be doing a race to see how athletic all of you are" the gym teacher yells.

Yes! A race I will so whoop ass!

"First up Mark and Tira".

"Oh nice up against a girl this should be easy".

"Ha what can't handle real competition (loser)" I whisper.

"Hey!"

How did he hear that?

"3.....2......1....GO!"

Ha! He will so lose im half tiger and human he can't beat that. Hu? im still wining but hes almost right behind me that's not normal. He starts to gain speed and catches up, what? how? he passed me. Good thing I was only going slow. I start to sprint and of course I win ha!

5 hours later.

"Hey Tira want to walk home" Nick says happily.

"Oh hey Nick, nah I want to be alone for today" I say softly.

"Ok".

Well that was easy. I start to walk home. After 20 minuets I am home, I open our old creeky door to the house and walk inside hu? No one is home. Good I am so tired. I walk upstairs to my room and flop on my bed and just like that lights out.

Ugh my head, not THIS again!!!!
