The Truth about Zaysha

My name is Zaysha Koebel and I'm a runaway.

Everyone around me does not know of my secrets, and I plan to keep it that way. These secrets could ruin lives,
-Or more specifically, my life. And if anyone finds out about theses secrets, i'll kill them myself.

That is up until the new boy shows up and secrets start to spill.

But that starts later, for now...

"Ah!", I woke up with sweat and my matted hair sticking on my forehead.
I had it again. I don't know why but, it keeps coming back. Every night it just keeps coming back. Its just like its mocking me every time I close my eyes. Even if i close my eyes for one second, there it is flashing before my eyes, and i can't get rid of it.

My best friend is Tira Holmes, she's a tiger. I mean literally, she can turn into a Tiger. Then theres Mark, my other best friend. he can turn into a wolf.

They still don't know about me...

Anyways...

After waking up from my horrid nightmare, I began my morning routine. I start by taking a shower, trying to remove the smell of smoke i remember from my nightmare. When I look at the clock it reads: 5;26am. Using my 'Fox like Nina skills", I go down the stairs - successfully not waking my parents up- and grab Breakfast for myself.

Once I'm done, I walk to school early. I always walk to school early because nobodies there until 7:30 and I like to snoop in thing.
When I arrive at the school I take out a bobby pin and pick the lock. Quietly, I open the door and check to see if anybody is there early. Once I'm sure I'm alone, i walk in like a boss. Making my way to the records room, I laugh, passing the place where Mark and Tira met 3 years ago. Walking into the records room, I'm greeted by the smell of dust.

"Tira would probably want the answers to the math test coming up", I mumble to myself.

After I take a photo of the answers, I hear someone coming. The sound of the footsteps hear like they'er coming to the office. Trust me, I have hearing like a fox.
I open the door and lock it once I get out so, it looks like nobody has been there. After locking it, I ever so quietly walk towards the sound. When I'm a decent amount of space away, I see the Principal and decide to follow him. Walking back to his office, I see my computer chip on the ground beside his office door.

"Ah, shit.", I mumble as he picks it up and puts it in his pocket.

When he opens the door with his key, he leaves the door open and walks to the records room thats attached to his office, not before putting my computer chip on his desk. I walk in and grab my chip.

"Wow, this guy is dumb fuck", I accidentally say too loud.

"Who's there?", the Principal asks dumbly.

"Ah, shit', I think again. I run out of his office and made my way to the exit of the school, with the Principal hot on my trail. Once I leave the school, I run to the woods and turn into a Fox.

Picking up a new scent, I follow the trail that leads me to a wolf.

"It's not Mark because I would recognize the scent. Not Tira's sister because she knows this is my territory.", I think, listing off the possibilities of who it could be. After knowing that this is not someone I know, I decide to have some fun with them. Now, they're many ways for a Trickster like me to have but I decide to confuse this Wolf. At least for now...

Once I turn back into a human, make myself comfy (or as comfy you can get) on a tree branch and hide my scent, so the wolf does not know I'm a fox,

"You should know better than to go on somebody's territory, or is that big nose you got not working?",I try to sound board but, the excitement is killing me. See, in a town as small as the one I live in nothing ever happens, so believe me when another shapeshifter appears out of no where, something is going to go down and chaos is bound to happen. Especially when they enter your territory.

The wolf growls.

"That's it? I insult you an call you do is bark? Like what the fuck. I guess I have to step up my game.", I think to myself. Deciding to step up my game and try to piss him off. I jump from one branch to another, making sure to stay hidden, and throw some sticks at him if I get the chance.

The wolf turns into a young man and spins around, trying to find me. After not even seeing a shadow of me, he gives up with a sigh.

"Oh, come on,", I drag the 'O' in a mocking matter, "You give up soooo easily. You're no fun."

He turns his back to me and I decide to step it up a notch. I do the only thing that comes into my mind at that time...

I jumped on his back. Okay looking
back on it know it was reckless but, Hey thats me, a reckless person. Before I jumped on his back he turned around and I landed on his chest. My hands on his chest and his hands by his side.

"You should know better than to go on my territory," I say breathlessly staring into his eyes in a threatening matter. " I don't want you back here again.", I said more firmly this time.

"You know, people don't always get what they want", He said with a sparkle of in his eyes but I wasn't bothered by that fact.

"Oh Honey,", I lean next to his ear and whisper in a low dangerous tone, "I Always Get What I Want." After saying that, I gracefully push myself off his chest and make my way to Tira's place, making sure I don't look back at the boy who was on the ground.

"Wow," I think to myself as I struck my way to the other side of town, "Three Wolfs, one Tiger and a still to be discovered Fox, this is going to be one Hell of a year."

Little did I know, this was only the beginning...
