Stop and smell the roses,

The little things in life,

Often get ignored,

Because of our busy lives,

Take some time,

Away from your book,

Away from your computer,

And just take a look,

Look at the world,

The beauty of nature,

Don’t let it get destroyed,

By our busy culture,

Little things often go unnoticed,

Sometimes, these things are the most beautiful,

Take for example, the rainbow,

Painting our sky colourful,

With our busy schedules,

Leaving us all beat,

Did you notice the dandelions,

Blooming at our feet?

With our never ending work,

Did you hear the birds singing in the sky?

Chirping a beautiful melody,

As they fly in the sky so high,

With our heads in our books,

And our eyes fixed on screens,

Can we ever find time,

To enjoy the things that are so rarely seen?

It’s time to take a break,

As we turn off our computers and as our books closes,

It’s time to appreciate the small things in life,

As we Stop And Smell The Roses.
