"Taylor just one thing before you answer" Liz says

"What?" I ask

"I really don't want you to do this, you're only 24, and I don't think you should trust him yet" She says

"Liz just let me make the choice" I say

"Taylor I care about you and I just want you to make the right choice. You're my friend" She says

"I am you're friend but I though Grant was too" I say

"He is" She says

"Then why don't you care about him?" I ask

"I do" She says

"Then why don't you trust him?" I ask

"Um" She says

"Tell me" I say

"Grant can you leave?" She asks

"Whatever" He says

"Grant I'll tell you later I know what my answer is and she's not changing anything" I say

He smiles and closes the door. We hear him walk away from the door and the bedroom door close

"Taylor I saw something you never did" She says

"What are you talking about?" I ask

"When he was still drinking he got really drunk one night and him and Claire got in an argument and he...." She says

"Finish the sentence" I say

"He hit her Taylor. And I don't want it to happen to you" She says

I stand there not knowing what to say. I never though that's something he would do. He's just not like that at all

"But he was drunk" I say

"Taylor it doesn't matter, it could happen to you and I can't let that happen" She says

"It won't happen, he's not like that" I say

"Taylor I saw what I saw and I just want you to know that before you say anything to him" She says

"How did you even see it?" I ask

"It was on the bus just past midnight one night and I couldn't sleep. They were arguing but I decided not to get up. When they started yelling I got up so they wouldn't wake up anyone and I opened the bedroom door and I saw it" She says

"Does Grant know you saw it?" She asks

"He doesn't remember anything that happened that night but Claire knows I saw" She says

"Oh...." I say

"Taylor I don't want this to change anything. I want you to be happy and if that means saying yes, do it and if that means saying no, do it. It's your choice not mine" She says

"Thanks Liz" I say

"No problem Tay. I should go now I was only planning on being here for like half an hour. Bye" She says

"Bye" I say

She walks down the hallway and leaves me alone. I open the door and go inside

"Grant?" I say

He opens the bedroom door and comes out

"Hi" He smiles

He pulls out the ring

"So Taylor Alison Swift, will you marry me?" He asks

"Grant I'm sorry but I have to say no. I'm just not ready" I say
