~Time skip~
They were about an hour away from the village now. They both had been running for two hours straight. It was now snowing everywhere around them. Both of them had noticed a small town and entered as they looked around. Akuma needed some tea, badly. Both Akuma and Kimiko entered a small tea shop. She saw that she was a bit on edge. "Are you alright? " She asked her quietly, hoping not to draw attention and was not sure what to do or say at the moment. Akuma looked at her, shaking her head a bit.
"No I am not. This doesn't feel right at all." And out of the blue, a voice rang out to them.
"Can I help you two?" "A black tea for me please and a pastry of any kind," Akuma said. The woman dressed in a waiter outfit spoke and looked at Kimiko. Kimiko looked at her.
"Small honey tea and a pastry." Kimiko said. The waitress walked away. and the two women sat doown in a small booth. Akuma looked at her hands and frowned. She cracked her knuckles and looked up.
"I don't like this at all." Akuma stated to Kimiko before she looked up and noticed a man starring at them. Akuma glared at him and he looked down immediately afterwards. Kimiko nodded lightly and glanced around real quick only to see that man and a few others staring. She galred but the rest didn't look away. So she looked back at Akuma and nodded.
"I personally agree with you on that note ."
"You need to work on your glare," Akuma said with a smile, causing Kimiko to shrug lightly.
"I can never say I've been the one to be heartless or cruel...I'm assuming I'll have to work on that as well."
Akuma gave a small smile. "You will get it eventually." She looked up again and saw the same guy staring. She glared and gave him the finger. The guys only chuckled and went back to dicussing what they were talking about before.. Kimiko giggled a bit in response to Akuma's actions.
"Never seen you give that sort of behavior. "
"I hate men staring at me like I am a piece of meat. I will knock a son of a bitch out." Kimiko nodded in agreement before speaking.
"I got the same treatment in the Leaf when I was wearing an old outfit. " Kimiko shivered form the thought of goign to that memory. "I hate men. Most are after you for looks or a 'good time' and the rest are just desprate." She chuckled as she finished speaking.
"Deidara likes you, you know that?" Akuma started to her, making Kimiko raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"Art Freak number one? (NO OFFENSE!) Why?" She asked.
"He thinks you are sweet and pretty. He also thinks you understand him. Kisame tells him to forget it since apparently Itachi likes you." She thanked the girl as their tea and food came. Kimiko thanked the girl as well and took hers and looked back at Akuma.
"Itachi too?" Kimiko asked and sighed before holding her head. "Oh boy..." Kimiko suddenly started having flashbacks of a few memories that happened back in the Leaf Village.
"You seem slightly curious about Kisame and I though." Akuma said as she took a bite of her cookie. Kimiko stopped having flashbacks and looked at her before nodding.
"Actually I am. I'm just curious about how you two met. And how you two behave is normal." She said drinking some of her tea. Akuma laughed in response to her words before she spoke up again.
"We met when I first joined. I was 16 and from mist just like him. I was the only girl besides Konan but she is always with Pein. Hidan scared the living shit out of me and Kisame was the only one who would protect me from him." She told her truthfully as she recalled the memory and took a sip of her tea. Kimiko laughed gently.
"That sounds wonderful. Considering I dispised Hidan and I wish I could hang him from his Scythe and throw kunai at his face. But please. Continue." She said eating.
"So Kisame started to train me. That's why I am as strong as he is, maybe stronger. Itachi helped with the mental side of battle. Eventually I started to do solo missions. One mission I got hurt and I was near the brink of death. I was in the infirmary. I was physically unconscious but I could hear everything. I head him talk to me. He told me he loved me and that I couldn't die just yet." Kimiko gave a light smile as she heard this. "And?"
"A couple of days later I woke up and Kisame was sleeping on the edge of bed. I patted his head and he woke up. He start rambling so I kissed him to shut up. Afterwards we were making out once and he accidentally bit my neck. Next thing I know my phoenix, Embers, is telling me that I am mated to Kisame until I or him decide to get someone else." Kimiko nodded in interest and in reasoning.
"You both seem to have a very serious bond. "
"Sharks are possessive honey. And ,well, let's just say Phoenixes will kill someone for looking at their mate dirty. The normal part? Well we are just like every couple minus the ex-nin thing but we do what normal couples do. If we didn't have this mission I would be getting ready for a date right now." Kimko nodded and drank her tea before she spoke up once again.
" Sharks are dangerous though. Remind me not to mess around with you when he's around." Akuma smiled.
"You can. He can tell when I am pissed with a person. That's why he stopped bothering you once I told him to stop." Kimiko nodded and continued to drink her tea before she set it down again. "If you get with Deidara you two will be adorable." Akuma said to her, only to see Kimiko shaking her head.
"I don't think that will ever happen. To be honest I stopped dating after the first guy I met. " She said looking down at her tea seeing her reflection.
Akuma looked at Kimiko. "What happened? And not all men are jerks. Deidara for example, is honestly sweet. There will never be a dull moment with him." Kimiko played with her thumbs and sighed, thinking to herself softly before she began telling Akuma what had happened in the past.
" The last guy I dated used to be sweet. But one day he changed. He became demandive, forcing me to do things against my will...Eventually it got to the point to where I had bruises and scars left from his beatings when I didn't do what he wanted me t do. One day he went to hurt me again and I snapped...Next thing I know I'm crying, covered in blood, and thinking of how I never shoud have came to the Leaf. " Kimiko said looking down closing her eyes and seeing the memories. But a tear dropped into her tea as she remembered.
Ever since her ex's death, she's never cried. and it's been over 6 years since. Akuma, in response, grabbed her hand and gently squeezed it.
"You have a family with the Akatsuki whether you realize it or not. We care. Even Kakuzu." Akuma finished her tea. "We best be going. Take your anger out on some random ninja that tries to attack us. Or when we get back I get Hidan and hold him while you beat him." Kimiko grew a light smile on her face and looked at her before nodding.
"Thank you Akuma. Kisame better not leave you or I'm whopping his ass if he does. You're so kind. " Kimiko said getting up after finishing her snack and tea and had a small smile on her face. Akuma smiled.
"Don't tell the others." Kimiko nodded before they left and started to run again.
