~3rd P.O.V.~

R u n n i n g.
That's what {Name} was doing.
But... What were they running from?
The said human being considered stopping; they're panting and their heart's beating so hard it wouldn't be a surprise if it suddenly burst out of their chest.
Their fast sprint came to a slow jog, "Maybe... I should stop just for a little while... It's only reasonable, right? At this rate, I might as well collapse.' They thought as their vision continually becomes shrouded with black only to return to normal with a blurry twist. But before they could even fully stop to rest...
They could hear the quick, loud thumping from behind them; A low growl seemingly resonating through the whole forest.

It was charitably far, but if they actually stop right here, right now; it's going to get closer and they won't be able to get away. With adrenaline coursing through their entire being; they inhale deeply, pick up their slow pace and strained their sore muscles to run faster than ever before. Being able to get away from this horrid beast is the only thing going on their train of thought. There's no stopping now; Unless they want to chance being caught.

"So PB, you called us here for something?" Finn questions as he casually leans against a counter, hands in his pockets; right next to Jake who was sitting on it. They both watch Princess Bubblegum in pure curiosity as she quickly moves from one side of the room to the other; carrying varieties of test tubes with strange-looking liquids within them to a rack that holds those said items. "Ah, yes... I have something quite interesting to show you both."

The pink haired princess cautiously set the tubes on the rack, slowly picking up a tray stacked with bags of dead flies, by the looks of it, then continued to approach the more darkened side of the dimmed lit room. In this shady corner stood a large cage that is covered with a black sheet. This cage was slightly swaying back and forth, noises that seemed to be a muffled growl resonated from it and throughout the large room; resulting in a small shiver sliding down each spine. "Princess..." Finn felt uneasy as he hesitantly steps forward, his right hand on the hilt of his golden sword; tucked snugly inside of a brown & golden scabbard which was placed on his left side.

"It's alright Finn as long as we show 'Arachne' we're not going to harm it we'll be fine... for the most part." She muttered the last part as she set the tray on top of a tray table so it went unheard only by the human ears of Finn.

Jake narrowed his eyes and a look of confusion settled on the blond boy's pale face "Arachne?" He questioned the Candy Princess, "You gave it a name?!"

She only replied with a simple nod. "Yes! Extraordinary, isn't it? I named it after the woman who challenged Lady Athena in a weaving contest. Arachne was a better weaver, but she made the mistake of making a mockery of the gods and goddess within her woven cloth; resulting her in being punished by..." She took a pause to inhale a big breath of air before continuing. "Well, Arachne was turned into a spider!" The boys were in for a treat after she finished her small lesson in Greek mythology as she gripped the black fabric and slowly tugged it off the cage.
