We get back home and immediately I get to my room and lock the door.

Esme's POV

It's quiet and depressing right now. I never thought my prima felt like this, she's always happy. She always tells me what's on her mind.

Alex's POV

It's kinda sad seeing her hurt like that, I mean we hadn't talked in a long time but, it's still hit me you know?

Jimmy's POV

I feel like a dumb ass for not noticing that she was hurt. If I felt like shit after everything that happened I can't even imagine what she's going through. I never talked to her about the shit that happened cause I knew we would both break down. Dumb ass move cause now she feels like she would rather die than talk about her feelings, if we would have talked about it earlier she would of probably told me what she was going through lately. I fucken love her, she's my baby sister and I ain't tryin to lose her.

1 Week Later
Vero's POV

I'm feeling down, I honestly feel like I don't belong here. I need my mom I need my dad but I don't have them. I feel selfish. I tried taking my own life away, it hurt those around me. Esmeralda had gone through this already she practically went through it twice considering my parents were her parents after her biological parents passed away, to this day she is still coping both deaths. So for me to try to take away my life away is just selfish, I hurt them more than myself.

Friday Night

It's Friday night, I ain't got shit to do. I put on some oldies and just lay on my bed thinkin bout shit. Esme walks in with Karina y Ana lookin all good and shit. "Get ready, we're going out" Ana told me "nah go without me" "como chingados que leave without you. Andale you have an hour and a half to get ready. I'm not asking you, I'm telling you" She said seriously and they walked out.

I hop in the shower and wash myself and shave my legs and shit. I put on a sexy dress since I saw the girls wearing dresses.

I straightened my hair and did a smokey eye look.

Alex's POV

We're going to a party tonight with the homegirls and some homeboys. We are waiting for Vero to be ready so we can leave.

She comes down from upstairs and damn she looked FINE. She lookin all dolled up and sexy.

Vero's POV

I came down and immediately see Alex checking me out up and down. I didn't really care cause I always had a little crush on him since we was young.

We arrive at a house party. Jimmy opens the door to reveal a big party, oldies were playing in the background. People were just chillen. I see a couple familiar faces. They had some carne asada in the back. I stuck with Esmeralda, Ana, and her friends:

After a while at around 1:20am funk was playing and the place was packed.

ESME'S POV

I was chillen with Vero and Ana when I noticed someone from a distance. I saw a guy he caught my attention for some weird reason. I didn't find him attractive I just had this weird feeling when I seen him like I knew him my whole life.

I walked up to him and asked him for his name "Hey I'm Esmeralda what's your name?" "Aye wassup I'm Abel" he told me.

THE NEXT MORNING
VERO'S POV

I wake up to some loud ass noise and I hear Esme yell.
