You unknowingly reel me in as I hang
on to your every breath.
A hypnotic and almost unfamiliar
feeling awakens inside my soul.
Doubts, fears, and insecurities melt away
as my heart begins to thaw.
You have pulled me out of the darkness
I was drowning in.
Given me hope or a longing for something
of which I'm not even sure.
Intrigued by every syllable spoken,
I have come alive once more.
Without even physically touching
me, you have intimately touched
every part of me.
