Will You Remember The Stars || MYG

The night fell as the cold breeze ran through the trees and grass. I stood outside after my late night shower, it was a quarter till midnight as I gazed at the waters reflection of the moon and stars. The child passed by me, causing the freezing cold air to hit my face and onto my damped hair, soon he stood next to me, only seeing his charming smile.

He mumbled words as he pointed towards the stars. I tried my best to see who he was, all I could see is his messy dark hair that covered his eyes and his pale skin that reflected off of the stars. He wore a white t-shirt and black shorts, I continued to look down to see him bare footed, stepping onto the wooden patio.

I gave up and finally stared at the night sky, all I saw was bright shining stars, the sky was tinted red then to black. I started to smile and turn to look at him, but he was gone. Where did he go?

I woke up to the sound of my alarm buzzing, it read "6:00am" I groaned as I laid my arm against my forehead and
stared up at the wall. I finally got the motivation to get up, I walked towards the bathroom to get ready and ran downstairs to smell something burning I start running towards the kitchen, "Are you cooking bacon again?" I asked my older sister, JiHyun. "Oh god! I almost forgot about that."

She said looking at the pan. Is she serious? "You didn't smell this?" I asked crossing my arms "Hahah no, my nose is kind of stuffy, I think it's done now" she smiled looking at me. "Oh really? I had no clue" I said sarcastically she looked at me, "Haha very funny" she paused taking a look at her newspaper, she acted like such an old lady "Go eat and make your way to school!"

I went to grab two pieces of bacon and tried to take off some of the burnt areas, I walked out the door to see that the sky was dark blue and the sun wasn't shining. "Good thing I brought my jacket today", I mumbled to myself. I made my way through the short way to school before it started raining and continued through the gate.

I looked around to see that it was empty, but as soon as I got into the building the halls were filled with chatter. As I passed by, many said that there was a new kid, I took an interest into that sentence and wondered how he was. I reached my class and sat down in my seat near the window in the last row. I faced the left looking out the window waiting for the teacher, since we had 10 minutes left before school began, I decided to compile how the student would look.

I continue to stare out the window to see that it started to sprinkle and then heard the door open, her heels clanked against the ground making the empty room fill with echoes, she announced that there was a new student. Everyone started off as quiet until she announced, then they soon started to fill up the room with chatter.
