The Tale of Three

Chapter 2

As James sat in the qaratinne area the little girl kept crying for the next 5 minutes. Once she finally ran out of tears she said "Sorry your dad died saving me" James looking back at the girl only said "I am sorta glad in the way he died,  He have seen many families cross through this area and he never even tried to help them no matter what I said until he saw you.  I think he might of finally stopped thinking about himself and I and started to think of other people." The girl looking around the room she was in asked "Whats this thing?" James responded without looking back "It's a room that will make sure no zom.. weird animal germs got into our bodies" The girl looked over to James and asked "Whats the problem if they do?" James said "We can get very sick and there is no known cure" The girl looked back "How long until we can leave?" James said back "5 more minutes until then I will tell you about myself since I heard your story on our cameras" He took a large breath then began speaking "My name is James and I am 16 years old for my enitre life my father has always thought he world was going to end in some way.  He spent his entire fortune he got from making a new type of armor piercing bullet for the army on this bunker.  This bunker has enough food, water, and air for 10 people for 10 years.  The tunnels you see are meant to trick anyone who comes down here if they don't know their way, plus the tunnles at most lead 3 miles in every direction.  We had...I have this bunker installed with 50 bedrooms 20 baths 1 vegetable farm some chickens and one heck of a armory." The girl look surprised and asked "Why so many rooms?" James asnwered "My dad's first thought was to use this place as a bunker for people who came near here but as time went on and war went across the world he lost all trust in humanity.  He only trusted two people in the world.  My mother and I."  He sighed then continued "My mother left my father when I was 6 months old. She left because she considered my father nuts. Personly so did I but I couldn't leave my father made sure that there was no record of my birth so no one could track me down.  I also think it was so child protection agency couldn't take me away.  I am sorta glad he did that now because we trained every day since I was 5.  I am a master in martial arts, blades, guns, and I am great at stratagy." The girl fully calm down now said "We need to continue with what your dad wanted, we must save people and bring them down here" James looked at her with a smile as the doors opened "You're right I will head up tomarrow and save as many people as I can."   That night James showed the girl the room should would be sleeping in and what button to press if she needed help.  That night she pressed that button 3 times because she woke up from nightmares of the weird animal getting her.  When mourning came James woke up and get the girl made some breakfest for them both.  As they ate he told her "I will be gone for the entire day and if something happens to me you will hear a beeping noise on the computer next to us.  That beeping mean my heart stopped and I am dead.  If that happens a message will play with my father on it. It will tell you anything you need to know on how to take care of this place." The girl looked up and said "But you won't die will you?" James looked her in the eyes and said "With how the world is now I could die five feet after stepping out of this place but I have been trained for hundreds of different situations and how to deal with them." The girl stood out of the chair in her still dirty clothes and said "If you know so much how come your father died" James looked at her with slight anger in his eyes and tried to answer calmly "Because he never thought something like finding a 8 year old girl alone in the forest being fellowed my merderous men" with that he left and headed towards the armory.  Once there he put on his special gear whitch had 12 throwing knives 1 handgun at the side and held 300 rounds for his rifle. It had Kevlar armor placed around the chest.  He strapped on a heart beat moniter to his arm to tell him if his heart beat is going to high.  He got a few long range radios just incase he runs into a group of survivors and got the special car that his father designed that can go on any serface with bullet proof material almost everywhere while holding up to 10 people.  The car was designed so the driver could either let them shoot out of the person holding container or couldn't even see anything outside of it.  He got into the car and pressed a certain button whitch made a freight elevator pull him out and into what looked like a hill but truly held their many vehicals.  Doors opened out of no where that looked light they wern't even there from the outside.  James started driving in the direction he last saw a family come through.  As he drove for about 5 minutes he came across a pile of burned bodies with a cross behind them.  Upon closer view he saw that on the cross was a note.
