Chapter 8

I slipped out of Dallys room without waking him. I walked down the stairs quietly but no one was here execpt Buck.

"Where are you going little lady?" Buck said. Which made me jump a little and drop my bow.

"Back home to change, tell Dal when he wakes up please?" I said as i picked up my bow.

"Sure."he said cleaning the bar as i walked out the door.

I walked home quickly and ran to my room. I got a towel and a comb. I walked to the bathroom trying not to wake Two-bit up. I got in the shower and washed my hair because it had huge knots which made me uncomfortable.

I got out the shower , brushed my teeth and ran back to my room. I put one some bleached white jeans and a black over sized tee shirt without sleeves and tucked it in my jeans then i put on some dark purple converse. I tied my hair up so it wouldn't get my shirt wet.

I walked past Two-bits room and found him awake watching tv i went and jumped on the bed.

"Hey princess." He said happily.

"Hey two-bit." I said giving him a hug.

"I thought you were with ol dal?" Two-bit said sounding confused.

"Well i was but i needed to change and take a shower and he wasn't up yet so i came home." I explained.

I walked downstairs to look for a soda.

I picked one up and chugged it i heard the phone ring. I ran to pick it up. As i reached for it i let out a huge burp lucky i hadn't answered the phone.

"Hello?" I said as i was giggling from the burp.

"Hey." I heard a familiar voice it was curly.

"Whats up with you curly?" I said as i finished giggling.

"Well since i aint got nothing to do i was wondering if you want to hang out?" He said coolly.

"Yes !" I said exictedly.

"Well Ill be there in about 10 minutes princess." He said.

"Ok." I said happily.

"Well let me get going."He said

"Yeah hurry bye !" I said as i hung up.

I sat on the couch staring around i thought it had been forever untill i heard a car pull up.

"Whos outside?" Yelled Two-bit.

"Curly sheaperd, were hanging out today !" I yelled.

"Oh have fun." He yelled absentmindedly.

I emidiatly ran outside and got in the passenger side of curlys car.

"Hey Sheaperd" i said.

"Hey princess, what you want to do ? Park ? Dingo? My place?" He asked.

"Hmm... Uhm how bout all three ? I aint got nothing todo today, but shouldn't you be in school?" I said.

"Yeah we can do that it will be fun, and nah after reformetory school didn't work my mom let me drop out." He said coolly as he turned on his car again.

"Oh ok then lets go to the park first." I said. It was about 10 am we had plenty of time.

"Ok." He said and started driving the whole ride was silent but a comfortable one.

We finnally reached the park and curly parked the car and we got out. I started runing and yelled "try to catch me sheaperd"

I ran for about 20 minutes then Curly finnally caught me since i stopped to get air. He grabbed me in a hug. We both fell and were panting and gasping for air as we were laughing.

"C'mon lets sit on a bench." I said as i got off and brushed of the grass blades off my clothes.

"Ok let me get up." Curly said still laying in the grass i extended my hand out to him he grabbed it and i pulled him up. We made our way to the benches.

"I missed you alot Noamy." Curly said as we were sitting.

"I missed you to, i thought you forgot about me like Tim did, aha." I said jokingly. I know i've met time a couple of times he just didn't remember me i guess.

"Tim forgot about ya?" Curly said surprised.

"Yeah I saw him at Bucks party he ain't know who i was and then kissed me." I said blushing a little.

"Oh and lucky tim." Curly said jokingly.

"So Curly don't ya have a girl?" I said curiously.

"Nah i had one but i dumped her when i had to go to reformitory school plus she was a greasy broad." He said quickly.

"Oh ok." I said standing up. I walked to the fountain and threw a stick in it.

"What are you doin'. " curly said from behind me.

"Nothing i just like playing with water." I admitted.

"Well c'mon lets go to The Dingo and grab a bite." He said.

"Ok c'mon!" I said as we started walking back to the car.

I got in the car and Curly closed the door what a gentlemen. Then he got in to his side.

He started driving really fast which kinda scared me.

"Slow down you drive worse than two-bit your to young to be driving anyway!" I said loudly.

"Aha nah now that boy can drive at all and nah im bout to turn 16." He said chuckling a little.

"Oo ok, and yes you have a point he can't drive at all." I said as we arived at dingo.

We got out and walked thruough the fight between two hitchhikers. We went inside and sat in a booth.

A blonde waiteress came up to us.

"What can i get yall?" She said happily she seemed really nice.

"Uhm, a soda fries and a pizza." I said hesitantly.

"Ill have a burger fries and a soda." Said curly quickly.

"Ok coming right up." The waiteress said still smiling then she walked away.

"Noamy what are you doing here ?" I heard a voice say i turned my head in its dirrection.
