Chapter 5

"I know you won't agree so I won't ask if you want. But wheather you like it or not, you'll go Kei."

"Yeah exactly, may magagawa pa ba ako? You already settled it and I did nothing." I coldly said to my mom then headed the stair.

Call me rude, no manners, or whatever. That's the way I talk, cold or bored. Walang buhay lalo na pag walang kwenta ang usapan. That date thing. I hate it. I hate about the whole match. She's a fucking match-maker. I looked like a dumb player, playing her games, which I called 'damn-date-thing', trying to get myself on the hell and survive. Paulit-ulit na lang, she's willing to sacrifice her only daughter for her...their bussiness. What a lame joke!

As I reached my room, walang buhay 'kong binagsak ang katawan ko sa malambot 'kong kama. I had a long relationship with my bed.

"T, who have a call." Ugh! Kailan man hindi nabigo ang kakambal ko sa pag basag ng moment ko. He's a moment wrecker. A mood swinger. All is negative.

"Yeah, comin'." Agad akong tumayo at pinagbuksan sya ng pinto. He's holding our wireless telephone. "Thanks."

It's just a small talk from the school president about sa outreach program. I was an assigned student in our classroom na mag-volunteer this coming saturday.

Ilang oras din akong nakakulong sa kwarto at nakipagtitigan sa kisame. I called Nikki to come over my house.

["Uhm? Beb, sorry. Nasa mall kasi ako ee. You know, enjoying wednesday since walang pasok."]

Si Thea naman ang tinawagan ko. I'm hoping na sana hindi sya busy kakalaro sa xbox nya. She's playing car racing.

["Yo? Napatawag?"] Rinig ko yung sound effects ng xbox nya. I bet 100 volume nyan.

"I was just hoping na hindi ka busy. Unfortunately, you are. 'Cause your playing your bored game again."

["Hey! This is a nice game. My bae forever. What's up ba?"]

"Nothing. Bye." And I hang-up.

Wala akong balak na tawagan si Yra. First, maingay sya, palaging gutom, hindi sya matinong kausap. Baka mabaliw pa ko. Second, she's going to murder me dahil sa mga tanong na basta-basta na lang sumasagi sa isip nya.

*Knock. Knock*

"Kei, can we talk? You know, a-mother-daughter-misunderstanding." Si mommy lang pala.

"I'm busy."

"Okay. By the way Kei, sorry for deciding such things in you. I'm doing this for good and for your future." For good? Haha. Hilarious joke ai ever heard.

"What's good in deciding things without considering my side, mom?" Sabi ko, but I guess, hindi nya na narinig yun. I already heard her footstep before I said mine.

You never failed to upset me mom. YOU. NEVER.

"Kayle, do you have a girlfriend?" Nasa hapag-kainan kami. My mom was sitting in front of Teijon while me, sitting beside him. Nakikinig lang ako.

See? Maski buhay ni Teijon pinapakialaman nya.

"Wala pa po. Pero may nagugustuhan ako." Teijon

"Keep it up son. Have you met Alyssa? She's damn hot. Nasa taste mo sya son." She laughed.

Napahinto si Teijon sa pagkain. "Mom, I don't like her. Yeah, nasa taste ko sya but, she's quite different. She's a happy-go-lucky, party-girl, and she's flirting other guys. She's not my type." At nagpatuloy na. Halatang di nya masikmura yung topic. Maski naman ako.
