[A/N] Sorry for taking so long to update!:(( I've been really busy these days>~< on the bright side, Chapter 4 is finally up! Hope you enjoy it:]

-Allison Maddens

I walked up to my locker, only to find Jordan leaning against it casually. That was our usual routine nowadays. Not bothering to conceal my excitement, I waved excitedly.

"Morning Ally!" he smiled, revealing a set of pearly whites.

My breath caught when I heard him call my name and I smiled in response.

I couldn't help staring at his six-pack and defined arm muscles which could be seen clearly under that shirt. Damn. He sure worked out a lot.

"Done checking me out?" he smirked.

I looked away, desperately trying to stop the blush that was creeping its way into my cheeks.

"I-I wasn't checking you out. I-I was j-just trying to uh-"

Before I could continue with my pathetic lie, he cut in, "Don't bother hiding it, Ally."

"Egotistical jerk," I muttered, but loud enough for him to hear.

"You know you love it, babe," he continued smirking.

"Babe? Since when am I your babe?" I retorted, trying to act like it didn't really affect me. Was he flirting with me??

My face was definitely burning now, and it was only a matter if time before it exploded from heat.

"Since forever," he whispered into my ear.

Pretending I had never heard that, I quickly rolled my eyes.

"Move it, Jordan I need to get my books and you're blocking my way."I demanded. Phew. I breathed a sigh of relief. At least I didn't say anything stupid.

"And why should I move?" he said nonchalantly.

"Ugh, Jordan. Can you please move aside? I need to take my books and we're going to be late!" I tried to shoved him aside, but of course, he didn't budge.

He didn't even budge an inch. I was starting to panic.

"You asshole!" I cursed.

"Ouch! That hurt," he replied, putting a hand over his heart, mock-hurt.

He finally relented, moving aside.

"Thanks."I muttered sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

I couldn't deny that within the course of these two weeks, I was getting more comfortable with Jordan around, and I rarely stuttered around him anymore. That was the truth. Within two days, we had actually become really close friends. The fact that we never ran out of things to talk about made things much easier for us.

As for Taylor and me, we had become inseparable close friends. She was the gossipy, chatty one, while I was the listener.

**flashback(first day during gym)**

"That's not how you play volleyball!" I heard a small chuckle behind me.

I whipped around, red flooding my cheeks.

The girl was a redhead and slightly shorter than me. She was really friendly. "Here, let me show you how we play it," that girl offered, smiling brightly. I could tell immediately that she was not one of those bitches.

"Thanks!" I smiled back at her shyly.

**end of flashback**

And that was the beginning of our budding friendship.
