I stood in front of the mirror, roughly tracing my hourglass shape with my hands. Ugh. I didn't have a bad body, it just shouldn't be mine... I'm a boy! Why was I this way? I just didn't know.

Hi. My name is Micheal, and I'm a transboy. I'm a junior in high school, and this is how I met my girlfriend. But.... this is also how I learned to accept myself a bit more, and find others like me. I hope you enjoy my story.

☆☆☆I yawned and sat up in bed, groggy. I looked at the sunlight streaming into my room. Yup, it's morning.

Ok. Deep breaths Micheal, deep breaths. calm down. The first day of your junior year...

I peeked hesitantly at my alarm clock. Oh. No. 6:30! 20 minutes 20 minutes! I ran into the bathroom, avoiding looking into the mirror.

As I pulled on my tight chest binder, I thought about what it would be like to be cis. I banished the thought from my mind. Luckily, I don't really have bottom dysphoria unless I'm on my period, which today, I am not. I mean, it must be super awkward asking your parents if you can buy a fake penis. Yikes.

I put on my red and gray T-shirt and jeans and ran downstairs. My mom looked at me disapprovingly. She still didn't accept me being transgender, but at least she didn't say anything. Phew. I ran out the door.
