We arrived at school just in time. It is only 8:06 am. Mrs. Pie would be very mad if we were late. I greeted my best friend Lucy at the front gate. On our way to class, I told her all about the puppy that I was getting. "What are you naming her?" Lucy asked. "Coco." I replied. "That's a really cool name." she said.
As we entered the classroom, everyone was seated in pairs. "Hello girls. To get our work done, I have chosen for all of you to sit in pairs." As she was calling the pairs out, I was only listening for mine and Lucy's name. "Emily and Lucy," she called out. Yes! I thought to myself. "will not be sitting together because all they do is talk." The whole class burst out laughing. Mrs. Pie could be easily mistaken as the GRINCH! I thought to myself.
"Ring, Ring, Ring!" HOME TIME!!! I will get my puppy when I get home. YAY!!!
I ran all the way home because I couldn't stop thinking about the puppy. I just wanted to hug it right at this very moment.
I entered the house and ran straight to my room to find my puppy lying on my bed. There she was! She was beautiful! SHE WAS COCO!!!
