Last night was the the first night I actually slept. Knowing that Kendall was no longer a threat I wasn't afraid anymore. I woke up more refreshed and energized ready to take on the day.
" Carter are you up?" Parker yelled from the bathroom.
" yeah I'm up. You know ever since yesterday I've been the happiest ever in a long time." I said cheesing like an idiot.
" I'm happy for you. You have a beautiful smile. I hope our children have your smile. Now hurry up you meeting my family." I said pushing me into the bathroom.
Wtf! One he said children as if I didn't here that shit. Two, meet his family? I still barely know him.
After my shower, I put on a short, pastel blue romper. Braided my hair into a fishtail and finally eyeliner and lip gloss. I don't like eating right after I brush my teeth, just taste nasty. Parker was wearing a purple polo shirt, kaki shorts, and loafers. The typical white boy goto outfit.
" you ready?"
" as I'll ever be." This was gonna be a long ride.
28 minutes later
" I have a question for you." I said after a long silence in the car.
" ok go ahead." He said not looking away from the road.
" earlier when you said children you meant as in the kids that we would make" I emphasized.
" oh yeah you gonna have my babies girl. Maybe three at least" he said in the most serious tone I heard. Oh Jesus help me please. This man is trying to impregnate me and we're not even married.
After another few minutes of silence we arrived to a glorious home. It wasn't like a mansion but it was a nice size. He parked the car and came to my side to open the door.
" oh my, what a gentleman." I said with a southern accent.

We walked hand in hand up to the front door. After knocking we waited for a little while before a short woman opened the door, wrapping her arms around Parker.

As we walked into te kitchen I was hut with the best aromas I've ever smelt.
" Hmmm what is that?" I said making my way over to the oven.
" dessert, but we must have dinner first. Hi I'm Parkers mom, Ella. His dad will be here shortly hopefully in a good mood." She said with a worried smile. Was there something they're not telling me.
A few minutes after we started eating we heard the front door closed. Instantly everyone tensed up and stop talking. The sound of foot step became louder by the second. Then a splitting image of Parker emerged from the hallway. Our eyes connected, and by what I saw he was not pleased.
" son, who is this in my house without my permission?" He said not once taking his eyes off of me.
" this his my girlfriend Carter Rose." This was the first time Parker didn't have power in his voice he sounded like a little boy who got in trouble at school. Was he scared of his father?
" very well than, but what do you think Jareema will think of this." He said looking at Parker with a smirk. But hold the fuck up, who the hell is this Jareema bitch.
" oh you thought that I forgot. Well it seems that my first born didn't tell his little chew toy about his fiancée!" He said amused with laughter
" Parker what his talking about?" I said beyond hurt. My soul and heart had been crushed.
" he's getting married to another woman. Gosh I thought after all this time you people would have grown some intelligence by now." He scuffed. You people. People have talked bad about me all my life, but none of them have talked about my race. It wasn't the fact that he was insulting me. I couldn't take anymore of these lies, I ran out of the house with Parker far behind me. He might be taller but I was quicker and out ran him I just wanted to be alone.
