"W-who are you?" I stutter hesitantly.
"There's no need to be scared" the deep voice says. "You are safe here."
At this point I didn't know what to believe. This place is beautiful, indescribable.
"This is a place where dreams come true, where you can be at peace with your mind and be happy." The voice tells me.
"Who are you though?" I ask the voice.
"Me? I am insignificant. You don't need to know my name or anything about me."

Ok then. This person/being brought me to this place. 'Wonderland' they call it. I could get used to being here though. I get up from the chaise I was resting on which was surprisingly comfortable and got slightly shocked when I found that the ground in this room was literal flowers scattered in a thick layer, causing it to somehow become slightly springy and smelt amazing. I look around and take in my surroundings. The room is dimly lit by a single tall lamp next to the chaise. On the walls are paintings of landscapes of different types of trees and flowers. All is well except I feel like something is missing.
"W-where-" I didn't even finish my sentence when the voice replied.
"Don't worry. He's fine. He's still sleeping."
It was like the source of the voice had read my mind.

"So. What is this place?" I ask the voice.
"Like I said. You don't need to worry. You are safe here. This place is called Wonderland." It replied calmly.
"Well then. Why'd you bring me here? And what happened to my friends from the garden?" I ask gingerly, unsure if I should trust whoever I was talking to. I had by now realised that they were at least in some ways human.
"I was given orders to take you here. The orders were given to me by someone you may or may not be familiar with. As for your friends. I have no idea what happened to them. They all managed to escape. I am however sure that they are all perfectly safe." The voice said, in a slightly agitated undertone. I guessed I should probably stop asking questions before whoever I was talking to got too annoyed. Still, I wondered.
Is this all? Or is this room a part of something a lot bigger? Am I on Earth or a different planet? How do I know I'm actually alive right now? I realised that would be insane and pushed these thoughts aside as I found a door that I was sure wasn't there a second ago. It was small and slightly ajar as if asking me to go through, so as any sane person, I complied.
