MADELINE CARSON had issues and that was putting it lightly.
She liked the way she could feel her blood pump through her thin wrists when someone annoyed her. She liked the impulse she felt to scream when someone broke her heart and trust. She liked feeling pain; it made her feel alive, and most of all she liked the way Lydia Martin made her feel like she was losing her mind. And she didn't try to hide it either.
