Chapter 1:
Christina's POV:
My name is Christina Davis and I'm 15 years old. I live for cross country and track and I'm about to go on a run.

I jogged down my street and turned the corner when I saw a large moving van. I ran past when someone bumped into me. "I'm sorry I guess I wasn't paying attention." I said looking up at the boy staring at me. He was really cute. "That's okay. I'm AJ." He told me smiling. "I'm Christina." I said blushing. "Well we just finished if you want to come inside." AJ offered. "I'd love to." I said following him.

AJ's POV:
We sat outside and I couldn't stop smiling. She was so beautiful. We talked for what seemed like forever. "So you can tell I love running. What do you love to do?" She asked. "I sing. All the time." I told her. "Really? Are you good?" She asked. "That's for you to find out." I teased winking at her. "I bet you are. It was really nice meeting you. We should hang out again." Christina said walking towards her house. "Definitely." I said as she gave me her phone number and walked inside. She had already made me really happy.

Christina's POV
I walked into school the next morning and felt someone tap my shoulder. AJ stood there smiling. "Hey new student." I said grinning at him. "Gotta love new schools. What classes do you have?" He asked showing me his schedule. "Lucky for you we have all the same. Let's go." I said showing him the way. I was pretty excited he was here. We walked to class and a bunch of girls stared and smiled at him. I played it cool and tried not to get jealous, what's not to look at. He's super hot.

AJ's POV:
Later on I sat at lunch with Christina and some others not expecting so many girls to talk to me. I appreciated it but I only really noticed Christina. I stared at her every time she looked away. She seemed upset for some reason. After lunch I had a free period so I went to the music rooms to practice singing. I began when I noticed someone listening in the distance. "So you really can sing?" Christina said turning to look at me. "It's what I do." I said smiling and walking towards her. "Well I think you're incredible." She told me. "Why thank you." I said as someone interrupted us.

Christina's POV:
I watched as my ex best friend Olivia came closer to us. "You really are incredible. Hi Christina." She smirked waving creepily at me. "I have to go." I said rushing past her. I heard AJ call my name. I ran out of school and texted AJ.

"Don't fall into her trap. She's bad news. I'll explain later." I texted nervously.
