Chapter 1: The Ride

"MAKIYAH! c'mon lets go we are gonna be late to get on the plane" My mom said.
"I'd be okay with that" I said angrily. She rolls her eyes and we walk to the gate and we get on the plane. Its gonna be a loong flight so i just put on some headphones and play my music and fall asleep.

"Finally we are off that dang plane." my mom said.
"I agree with that statement can we go back to Ohio now." I said wearily.
My mom totally ignored me and we drove to the house. It was so beautiful I was in shock of how big it was.
"Sweetie do you like the new house?" my mom asked grinning.
"I LOVE it!" I shrieked with excitement. She smiled and I went upstairs to go look at my room. It was HUGE I was going to paint it later. Finally I heard the moving trucks and I went downstairs to help my mom with the house.

"Do you like your room?" my mom asked.
"Love it!" I replied. She smiled and I helped unpack some stuff that we needed to survive for tonight. Then when we got finished I started unpacking downstairs
"Makiyah is pizza okay for dinner?" she yelled.
"Sounds great!" I yelled back. I looked out my window and I saw three boys in the front yard playing football. The older one saw me staring and smiled while I jumped down and hid from him. He was really cute and I mean really cute. He looked around my age.

Later that day around 5pm the doorbell rang. I hurried up and ran downstairs almost falling because I'm such a clutz. It was the pizza man.(YOU THOUGHT LOL) He gave me the pizza and I closed the door.
"Mom pizza's here!" I yelled.
She came and we ate the pizza and it was actually really good. We finished the pizza and threw the box away.

I went back upstairs played on my phone and layed on my bed that the movers brought. I was relaxed until I heard the doorbell ring. I ran downstairs and opened the door. It was a beautiful blonde hair lady with the boys I saw earlier today. My heart started beating so fast and I felt like I was going to past out.
"Hello there my name is Christine and these are my boys and we just like to say welcome to the neigbor and we brought you some cookies!" Christine said smiling.
"Thank you nice to meet you!" I said smiling. I noticed the oldest one staring at me smiling but I didnt say anything though I thought it was cute.

"Hi my name is Ashton I'm the youngest of us three." Ashton said excitedly.
"Hi beautiful my name is Brandon. He said shyly.
"Hi my name is Makiyah." I said.
"Wow makiyah is such a beautiful name." The older one said blushing.
"Aw thank you" I said blushing.
"My name is Hunter by the way." He said giggling

"Oooh looks like someone has a crush." Ashton said giggling.
"SHUT UP ASHTON I DO NOT!" Hunter said angrily. When he said that I got kinda upset but I shook it off like it didnt bother me even though it really did alot. Then my mom came out.
"Makiyah who was at the door?" She said coming downstairs.
"Oh hi nice to meet you I'm Makiyah's mom Melvena." She said to Christine.
"Nice to meet you too we were just stopping by to welcome you to the neighborhood." Christine said.

"Oh how nice of you! Thank you so much" my mom said
"You're welcome! Would you like to come over for dinner tomorrow? So we can get to know each other better?" Christine asked.
"We'd love too!" my mom said.
"Great come around 5! See you soon." Christine said.
"See you then!" my mom said walking back upstairs in her room. The boys were still there though.
"Makiyah would you like to go to our house to play video games?" Ashton asked.
"Sure let me go tell my mom!" I said smiling

I went upstairs to my mom unpacking some stuff in her room.
"Mom I'm going to Christine's house" I said
"Okay sweetie have fun!" my mom said. I walked back downstairs and we went to their house. Once we got in we went into the living room I sat down on the couch and Hunter sat right next to me.
"Sooo Ashton what game are we playing?" Hunter asked
"Call of Duty!" Ashton said excitedly.
"YAY you're going down!" Hunter replied.
"Is that a challenge?" Ashton said
"I think so!" Hunter said

"I'm just going into my room I'm really tired." Brandon said and went upstairs.
"So Makiyah you know how to play?" Hunter asked.
"No I don't I'm sorry I feel bad." I said shyly.
"Don't be I'll teach you." Hunter said with a smirk.
"Oh okay I'd love that" I said smiling.
"Ashton me and Makiyah are gonna be on a team together." Hunter said smiling
"You're still gonna lose." Ashton smirked.
Then Ashton handed me the remote and put the game in and I was kinda nervous. I didn't wanna disappoint Hunter at all.

Ashton hit play and Hunter wrapped his arms around me and held me so tight and put his hands on top of mine. My heart started beating soooo fast and I felt my face getting hot. Hunter was clicking buttons and helping me telling me what to do and Ashton was trying to shoot my character and finally he ran outta amo and Hunter shot him and then he died.
"WE DID IT MAKYAH!" Hunter said smiling.
"You did it." I said shyly and I put my head down.
He lifted up my chin with his hand and was staring at my eyes.
"No we did it Makiyah" Hunter said with a smile.
We were so close to each other I could feel his breathe on his face. He was leaning in then...
