Makiyah Hamilton who moves to Phoenix, Arizona this year is worried about a new school and a fresh start. Makiyah's new neighbor's help her out around Phoenix. Little does she know what happens next...
I pulled away from him I couldn't do it I wanted to get to know him better. I felt so bad I saw the sadness in his eyes. I really wanted to I just couldnt do it. I like him I think I don't know I'm just so confused right now I can't contain how I feel about him.
"Makiyah I'm so sorry I shouldn't done that. It was a mistake and I don't know I just got caught up in the moment and.." Hunter said but I put my finger on his lips telling him to be quiet. "Its okay I promise its okay." I said with a smile. "Good I'm glad." Hunter said smiling. "Well I better get home now it's getting late." I said. "Yeah I guess soo. Before you go give me your number" He said. We exchanged numbers and we walked to the door together.
"I'll walk you home" Hunter said shyly. "I'd love that actually." I sad blushing. He grabbed my hand and walked across the street hand-in-hand. Finally we got to my door and before I opened the door. Hunter and I looked at each other for a while. "Makiyah I had a great time with you today. I'd like to hang with you again just me and you." Hunter said. "I had a great time with you too Hunter. I'd like to hang with you soon I'm free anytime." I replied. "How about me and you take a walk tomorrow and get something to eat?" Hunter said shyly. "I'd love to how about 3pm?" I said. "Sure see you later gorgeous. Goodnight." Hunter said. "Goodnight Hunter." I blushed walked in the house and closed the door. I walked up to my room happy and changed clothes and feel asleep.
The next day...
I woke up around 12pm and I checked my phone and I got a text from Hunter.

Gosh I really like him and I cant wait to hang out with him today. I started getting dressed (picture) and I put some makeup curled my hair excited for Hunter to show up I played on my phone and went downstairs. Then I heard my mom come downstairs. "Oooh someone looks cute. Where are you going today?" she asked. "Going to walk around and get something to eat with the cute boy across the street." I said smiling "My baby's got her first date." my mom said. "No its not a date I barely know him we are just friends momma." I sighed. "Okay well I'll give you $30." my mom said.
"Thanks mom I love you." I said. "I love you too kiddo have fun." my mom said while giving me the money and walked back upstairs. A couple minutes later I heard a knock on the door. My heart started beating fast I got up and opened the door his jaw drop. It was Hunter he was wearing a blue and black flannel and khaki pants. He had a rose in his hand and gave it to me.
"Wow Makiyah you look sooo gorgeous" Hunter said. I blushed so hard and my heart started beating really fast. "Thank you Hunter you don't look bad yourself." I said with a smirk. "You ready to go babe?" Hunter asked. I was blushing so hard and my face starting getting hot again. "Yes I'm ready to go!." I said shyly. "Okay leesss goo!"
