That Day At The Shelter...

Jen's POV.

I woke up, startled. I still remember Pat's soft kiss on my cheek. And his words, they kept replaying in my head. I got up to start the day. But then distracted by a strange figure outside in the front yard. I stared. Then eventually the figure left.

I got in my clothes from yesterday (from the hurry to run away from home, I forgot to pack some clothes) and went downstairs. I found Pat in the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" I said while checking my phone.

"Nothing. Ummm... do you play Minecraft?" he asked.

"Minecraft is my life. Why?"

"Is was wondering if you would like to make a YouTube channel. Were you post and watch videos."

"Yeah!"

"I already have one. Its called Popularmmos."

So Pat helped me create one. I called it GamingWithJen. And we created my first video.

And then edited it.

~ Time skip till next month.~

Pat's POV.

Me and Jen were at the beach. She looked very beautiful in the water. And I loved when those beachy waves would also blow along with the wind.

The time has come. Finally it was time to ask.

"Jen?"

"Yes?"

"Would yo..." Agghhh this brain of mine was making me a total fool in front of her. Just go and take a nap and don't wake up again.

"Would you be... my girlfriend?" I blurted.

She started to get tears in her eyes. She closed them. Then opened them again.

"Yes!"

I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her. I waited for along time for this. And finally it was happening. We stopped and stared at the ocean.

"I love you Jen."

"I love you Pat."

Jen's POV.

When he asked me to be his girlfriend. I got excited that I got tears in my eyes. I said yes. He grabbed me by the waist and kissed me. As if he been waiting for it to happen a long time. The kiss was so soft.

We stopped and stared at the ocean. I waited for this moment.

"I love you Pat."

"I love you Jen."

And he hugged me.

I hugged back.

I finally finished the chapter. My fingers are so sore. I will write soon enough.
