His bottom lip brushed against my teeth, a playful challenge that ignited a rush of excitement. Our surroundings transformed as his fairy dust sparkled around us, turning the dim alley into a canvas of glimmering magic. The castle's imposing walls loomed over, casting their protective shadow.
Fingers as light as a whisper danced on my stomach, sending delightful shivers across my skin. A mischievous tug on my hair brought a grin to my lips as his kisses traced the curve of my neck, igniting a trail of tingling sensations.
Nightmare lingered in the background, an intrigued spectator to our hidden rendezvous. Our gazes locked, and a knowing spark passed between us—an unspoken connection in the midst of secrecy.
The alley became our haven, the darkness wrapping around us at my command. With a shift of intent, our surroundings melted away, leaving only us enclosed in a bubble of shadows. My eyes, once familiar, turned obsidian with the depth of my power, a reflection of the magic that defined me. In that stolen pocket of time, we existed as a world apart, lost in the dance of the night.
Khaz's words brushed against my ear like a secret meant only for me. His eyes shimmered in the dim light, and his tattoos seemed to come alive, casting an enchanting glow within our hidden alcove.
I let my fingertip travel across his lips, a touch as soft as a sigh, and followed the curve of his neck. Our eyes locked, playful and intense, drawing us closer until our lips met in a kiss that sent a tingle through my entire being. It was as if the world around us blurred, leaving only the two of us suspended in this stolen moment. The doubt that always lingered at the edge of my thoughts melted away. Was it him or the magic-infused dust that made my heart race? At that instant, it didn't matter.
"Stay with me," he whispered in my ear.
The wall pressed against my back, a cool contrast to the warmth of Khaz's body. His breath mingled with mine, creating a rhythm that echoed the rapid beating of our hearts. His lips brushed against my collarbone, his scent carrying a hint of roses that made my senses reel.
But reality, like an unwelcome guest, intruded upon us. "Our project..." I murmured, breaking our embrace just enough to meet his gaze. Then, with a mischievous grin, I leaned in again. "Hey, give me a hickey," I suggested with a playful glint in my eyes. "I wanna see what happens."
Uncertainty flickered across Khaz's face, his eyes darting around as if searching for prying eyes. I hushed his doubts with a gentle touch on his lips. "No 'what ifs'," I insisted, my voice laced with determination. The world around us seemed to waver as the shadows around us deepened, a reminder that Nightmare, was never far away.
"Who's over there?" Khaz asked ,a furrow forming on his brow..
"Worried about an audience?" I teased, raising an eyebrow suggestively.
Khaz smirked, a hint of his usual confidence returning. "Why do you always have to be so..."
"Difficult?" I clicked my tongue, finishing his sentence, a smirk playing on my own lips. With a flick of my fingers, a tendril of shadow danced between us, coiling sensuously around his neck, drawing him closer.
Leaning in, Khaz's teeth grazed his lower lip, and I tilted my head, exposing my neck in playful invitation. Just as things heated up, a figure appeared out of the corner of my eye— a teacher passing by. Khaz pulled back, a sharp inhale escaping him, and I reacted quickly, covering his mouth to stifle any sound.
The teacher paused nearby, seemingly unaware of us, lost in their own thoughts. I held my breath, willing our presence to blend into the shadows. With a quiet step, the teacher continued on their way, and only when their silhouette had disappeared did I let out a sigh of relief.
