Elizabeth's POV

The next morning I woke up to my alarm screaming at me to get my butt out of bed.

It's 6:00 a.m.

School starts at 7:25, meaning I have a half hour to get ready and start walking. I don't live very far from the highschool so Im forced to walk to and from school, everyday, no matter the weather.

Rebecca likes to show up almost a whole half hour early so we can hang out. Translating to even earlier of mornings for me. She is a morning person. Me? Not at all.

I finally gathered the strength to get out of bed and brush my teeth. After my breath was nice and minty again, I got on my usual outfit choice, which included a large grey hoodie today, leaving my wavy hair down. Then started gathering up everything I needed for the day.

Headphones? Check.

Ipod? Check.

Spearmint gum? Check.

Caleb staring at me in the window? Check.

Wait what? I glanced back at the window and there he was again. Staring.

Avoiding the thoughts that he couldve seen me naked just moments before, I threw my bag over my shoulder and hustled downstairs, out the door before my mom could say a word to me.

Before long of my walking, there it was, hell on earth. Or as others like to address it, Green Haven High.

Approaching the large brick building covered in black tinted windows, I felt like I was being watched. Yet, glancing around, I couldn't find any eyes on me.

So I went on, waiting against the brick wall outside, where Rebecca and I meet on a daily basis. While letting out a long sigh, I heard a some what familiar laughter come a few feet behind me. Flipping
my hair off of my shoulder, I spotted the face of the familiar sound. Caleb Brier stood a few feet away from me, surrounded by all the populars of the school. Not that I was surprised. I mean he is pretty gorgeous...

Snap out of it Elizabeth. My head howled at me.

Eventually, my gaze broke away from the tall, dark haired figure, when I heard the voice of one of the people I love most.

"Hey girl!! Long time no see." Rebecca flipped her large dark curls over her shoulder.

"Hey!" I replied back with a big grin on my face.

"What's u--" she suddenly cut herself off when seeing the new kid of the school. "Holy fuck! Hottie Alert!" she was grinning from ear to ear, not breaking her stare.

"Yeah, that is Caleb Brier..." I paused waiting for a reaction.

"..My new neighbor." I said flatly.
