I went down stairs. I saw mom and Johnny talking. I went near them and sat down beside mom.
"So what's the laughing thingy?" I asked like I was to laugh with them
"Ohhhhh sweety nothing we were just talking about something very important about your birthday" mom said
"Ok so what's about my birthday?" I asked confusingly to both of them
"We were just planning a simple birthday party" mom answered
I finished my breakfast and Johnny asked:
"So Jessy are you ready for our date?" He asked
"Ummmm our date? Ummm yeah yeah I'm ready" I answered excitingly
I was packing my things for our date and after that I went down stairs.
"Come on Jessy!" Johnny was shouting from downstairs
"Coming!" I answered marching downstairs
When I went downstairs my mom called me from the kitchen. She said it was something very important so I went to her.
"Honey, here is a necklace for you"
"Wow mom this looks very expensive, but thanks mom" i said with almost tears on my eyes
"Your grandma gave it to me on my birthday when I was 16 and now that your 16, I will give it to you. Soon when you'll have kids, you will give this one to your daughter on her 16th birthday. Happy Birthday Sweetie!" Mom said while tears ran from her eyes down to her cheeks.
"Jessy, come on" Johnny yelled from outside
