The trees stared into me, meeting every dark corner. I was alone. This feeling was normal for me. My head throbbed gently, I put a hand to it. I felt warm. There was a breeze of cold November air that blew through my hair. I didn't understand why I was warm in this kinda of weather, but even if it was the end of Fall I could still be getting a fever. Anything could be a possibility. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, smelling the forest around me. I shuddered and pulled my jacket closer. I stood still for a few moments taking in the only true peace and quiet in the world. It was just about 3am, and no soul was around. I felt true security. I shook due to the cold and opened my eyes instantly, a warm breath crept against the back of my bare neck. I held in my tears knowing that I was soon to be dead. There was silence. I took in a breath and began to cry, knowing I had already failed.
I hung my head towards the ground, letting the tears fall. A pair of black painted hands appeared from behind me, wrapping around my waist and clinging tightly to the unzipped ends of my jacket. I stumbled. The hands were slowly pulling me down. I fell to my knees. The hands covered my face briefly then a masked man presented himself in front of me. He showed me a ski mask similar to his and forced it onto me. The man twitched slightly and scratched at his black painted neck. He exhaled and held a delicate finger to his mouth commanding me to keep quiet. I stared up into the trees, getting dizzy. I felt myself falling but I can't remember. I didn't see where the man had went, but I can sense not far.

My head throbbed and my ears buzzed at the sound of morning talk. I blinked my eyes open and shifted in my seat to find my homeroom teacher staring down at me, grinning almost too perfect. She cleared her throat then spoke loud so the rest of the class could hear. She called my name I believe.
She sighed because having to reassure me to not sleep in school was an everyday thing. She pierced her lips together, getting ready to speak again. The morning bell had cut her off. I flinched at the loud ringing throughout my head and stood cautiously. She walked back to her desk and sat down to began fiddling with her computer. I threw my bag over my shoulder and pushed my bangs out of my face. The class then disappeared in just moments and I was left alone. I hung my head to the floor and walked out to 1st period.
