"Elizabeth!" I heard my dad, the alpha of the pack, growl. I guess I overslept again...oops. I sighed, rolling off the bed. "Coming!" I shouted loud enough for my dad to hear. In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a werewolf.

I am part of the second most powerful pack, Golden Light. I am the daughter of the alpha, next in line to be alpha myself. I frowned as the thought came to me. What if I'm not good enough for the pack? I've been trained my whole life, but... I'm just not sure if I was alpha material.

"Elizabeth!" My mother yelled this time. No doubt my father had gone by now. I gave a half hearted laugh, I really was dreading this day.

Remember how I said we were the second most powerful group? Well, the first, Silver Dawn pack, rules over us, they rule over everyone. They're future alpha, and alpha, are coming here. I didn't know why, but eh, thats life.

"Elizabeth... Its almost time for fighting practice" I heard my mother say loudly, though calmly. I jumped out of bed, smiling. Nothing better then winning a fight against a bunch of guys. What? You can't blame me. I'm tall, but skinny. First look at me you think 'she's fragile'. I'm not though. I'm the best fighter in the pack! Besides my dad...

Though, truthfully, I wanted to be a good alpha. I wanted to protect everyone in the pack. Even if it costs me my life. I will protect my pack at all costs.

"If you're not down in 5 minutes!" I heard my mother yell. "ok ok!" I yelled, slipping out of my pj's quickly.

I ran to the bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth. I quickly combed through my long, golden, bipolar hair. Why is it bipolar, you ask? Because it changes every fuckin' day! One day it is COMPLETELY straight, with no hint of curl or wave what so ever! Then, its wavy, which actually doesn't look too bad... But thats not my point! Then, its either curly, pretty long, lose curls, or puffy and stupid looking all day!

Now, enough with the boring subject of my hair. It was in the lose curls today by the way.
I ran into my room and pulled my jeans on. Then I slipped on a light blue thin strapped shirt. It was a plain shirt, because I really wasn't one for dressing up.

Finally I ran downstairs, my mom was glaring at me. "Sorry..." I said quietly. I quickly sat down, grabbing my fork. Soon, the eggs, sausage, and biscuit were all gone. Yep, I know. I was a pig. Its ok, I couldn't gain weight anyway. So why would I not eat a lot if I had that advantage? Exactly!

"Elizabeth!" My mother scowled me. "Use your manners. Eat like a lady, act like a lady, and think like a lady" my mother said. Yeah yeah, maybe I was missing that certain...rule obeying side.

In my defense, the rules I have to follow are cruel! Always obey every rule. Don't make rash decisions. Don't speak unless spoken to. Ugh! I couldn't take it all!! Hehe... I know, imma be such a great alpha.

I know I know. My chapters are really short :( I promise I'll work on that though! In the mean time. I would be really glad if someone made a cover for this book xD. Well, I'll have the next chapter up soon. Promise! :)
