Dustin's P.O.V~
Harry’s birthday’s tomorrow and since he’s been so good to me I wanted to do something for him. Something he’d want. I wanted to prove that I loved him and I needed to figure out things about him.
“Hey Harry what’s your favorite place in town?” I asked leaning against his doorway.
“Russo’s. It's a music shop. Why?” He replied questioning me back. My eyes got wide I didn’t know how to cover this.
“Uh well I just thought I should visit your favorite shops, so I can get to know the town,” I replied staring at him to see if he bought it.
“Oh I can take you to it if you want. I’ll show you my favorite’s maybe I’ll buy you something if you give me a kiss,” He said smirking. I smiled at him chuckling, I walked towards him and placed a kiss on his lips.
“Thank you. I would have bought you something even if you didn’t kiss me,” he said pulling on his boots.
“But I wanted to kiss you,” I replied walking towards the door him following behind pulling on his coat.
"Oh really?" he said grabbing my hand and entwining our fingers.
"Yes," I said matter-of-factly.
"Does that mean you'd give me another kiss?" he asked questioning further.
"Well that defeats the whole purpose of a sweet kiss doesn't it. Like make-out sessions you can kiss as much as you want but that one treasured somewhat meaningful kiss well you just can't override that with a poorly executed second kiss. Because then you won't remember the sweet kiss you'll remember the sloppy second one. You see--" Harry leaned in kissing me stopping my train of thought. His lips were warm and when he pulled away I didn't want him to leave.
"I think that was a well executed second kiss don't you?" he responded smiling.
"Yeah that was an exceptional second kiss," I replied biting my lip. He just chuckled and wrapped his arm around me pushing me out the door closing it behind us.
"So what would your favorite album that you don't have?" I asked leaning into his side.
"I don't have the 1975's self titled album. I've wanted it. Don't think I can't afford it I just never got around to buying it," he answered leaning his head against mine.
"Alrighty," I said looking at the sidewalk.
"Why'd you want to know?" he asked looking over at me.
"Um. Research?" I said looking at him smiling.
"Research? What, you writing a report about me or some shit?" he laughed.
"Sure. Why not," I replied getting nervous feeling a knot form in my stomach. "He's on to my plan." He kissed the top of my head and opened the door of a small shop letting me go in first. Russo's was packed with albums and band tees. There were shirts and posters hanging on the walls, and music stacked along the walls separated by genre. Harry led me to a corner of the room that had milk crates stacked full of music. One of the crates had a piece of paper attached to it that said Harry's Music.
"I'm going to make a crazy guess and say these are your favorites," I asked looking at him.
"Well you'd be right then. I'm going to look in one of the other rooms. Shout if you need me," Harry said walking behind a curtain that I guess counted as a different room.
"Okay," I replied knowing he couldn't hear me. I shuffled through the music until I found it, The 1975's album. I turned to the back of the case looking at the list of songs. I turned my head to see if Harry had come out of the "room." He hadn't so I walked to the counter with the CD in hand.
