"Im afraid that Bentley broke his leg and there is nothing I can do to help him." Dr. Judy told me. I felt like my heart just got ripped into a million tiny pices,  I was goning to have to put him down.

"Go ahead and put him down I don't want him suffering." I say as I start to cry. Charity comes up to me and hugs me whilr Dr. Judy get the needle ready.

"Can I have a minute alone with Bentley?" I ask. Dr. Judy nods her head and walks away.

"Come get me after." Charity gives me one last hug and leves to go to her office. I walk slowly to Bentley careful not to spook him, I rest my head on his nack and stroke his white strip hat runs down his face with my hand. I stay like that for a few minutes later I call Dr. Judy over.

"Goodbye Bentley, I will always remember you." I say i kiss his cheeck softley and walk away. I don't want to see him die. I go to find Charity to see she is talking to someone... oh yeah I forgot all about your new student that was coming today. he was bringing all 5 of his horses. Good thing I got the stalls ready last week.  I walk in and look at Charity.

"Sorry I am in such a state I just had to put my horse down." I tell the guy. I know his name is Connor. He's hot... I've known him since grade 6.

"I'm sorry for you. Where can I put my horses?" Connor ask me. I lead him to the first 5 stalls on the right an show him.

"You can put them in whatever order you what. I will order the name plates tomorrow." I tell him.

"Thanks Summer. I owe you one." He say. I help him unload his Horses, and put them in the stalls. I didn't know how much I missed bones, ginger, donna, patch, Charlie and of course Connor. I put the last horse in the stall and lock the door. I look at the clock.

"Want to go for a little jumping competition?" I ask Connor. I missed being able to hang out with him.

"Sure what horse do you want to ride?" Connor grabs a halter and lead rope for me. I don't even have to think.

"Ginger" I take the red halter and lead rope which is Ginger's and unlock the stall door in which she is in. I clip the halter on her and lead her to the cross ties. like her halter Ginger's grooming kit is read, along with her saddle pad, poo's and water and feed bucket.

Connor has a different colour for each horse. Red for Ginger, lime green for Donna, orange for Bones, blue for Patch, and black for Charlie. I look to see that Ryan picked Patch, a pinto mare to ride. I picked Ginger because she was the horse that me and Connor picked out for him together. She was a light chestnut colour. Ginger was 8 and Patch was 7.

We both finished grooming and tacking at the same time. Connor grabbed his helmet, and grabbed his extra one. We shoved them on and when into the indoor arena where the jumps were. I heard the thudding of hoofs, turns out Charity was here riding. I follow Connor's lead and mount Ginger. I start her off at a walk and put her through her paces to warm her up. After I push her into a canter and points her over a few oxers and liverpools.

After 2 hours, my legs are starting to burn so I slow Ginger to a halt and dismount, I bring the reins over her head and walk her in slow circles to cool her off. I lead her back to the cross ties. I take off her bride and slip her hater on. I hook the cross ties to the halter and hang her bridle up. I finishes un-tacking her and run her over with the dandy brush, pick her feed and put her back in her stall. I bring her grooming kit, saddle and bridle into the tack room and put it in a empty locker. I hang Connor's helmet on the rack next to Ginger's stall. I go to my office to order some more de-worming paste, some new nameplates for Connor. I grab a shovel and muck bucket and start to clean out Bentley's od stall. I put fresh new bedding down and grab my stuff. I walk back to the house and grab my laptop. I type in horses for sale and one comes up and catches my eye.

"4 year old gelding 17.2 hh, strawberry roan quarter horse mix. Great eventer. Asking for $8000. Little bit high strung, needs expert rider." I read out. I click on learn more and pictures come up. What I see is a beautiful strawberry roan gelding in the pasture running. I find out that the stable in a few hours from here so I call the owner. I set up a time next week for me to go try the horse out. I click on another one, a 14.2 hh mare. Blue roan with a white star. This on was 10 years old. A bit too old for me. I click on a different one. This one a blood bay mustang. I don't want a mustang. I find a Belgian warmblood that looks ok. A bay one. 16.2 hh. 5 years old. I turn off my computer and start to make supper, tacos. Charity come down from upstairs when she smells the meat. She sets the table and goes in to watch some TV.

OK so long chapter... got to go bye!!
