prologue

Walking into the school, Minghao knew only but to look down while walking through the huge crowds. It wasn't as if anyone took notice of him anyway, everyone's with their close group of friends shouting and talking about their holidays. While Minghao, who had just moved back to Korea after a few years in China, had nothing to talk about or actually, no one to actually talk to because he lost touch with everyone he used to know. I mean he did expect it but he honestly thought someone would come up to him by now, noticing he was a new student.

Walking into the office, he greeted the lady at the desk before telling her his name. The lady nodded then gave him his schedule. At the same time, another student popped into the office.

"Ah Mingyu, just in time. Your teacher isn't here today so I thought that maybe you'll be able to replace him, introduce him to the class, show him around, make him feel comfortable. I'm counting on you," said the lady at the desk.

With eyes widening, he didn't want to turn around.

Mingyu. It could be any Mingyu why am i panicking, it can't be him. Just turn around Minghao.

Turning around, Minghao felt his heart beat faster. Looking at the familiar face, he regretted turning around. He wanted nothing to do with the person now standing infront of him.

He quickly looked down, trying to avoid the gaze of the taller boy standing in front of him.

Why him, why him, why him?

Minghao wanted to run away, but he couldn't. He didn't want to seem rude to the lady at the desk and him. He didn't know what to do.

Mingyu on the other hand was calm (or at least he tried to seem like it, in reality he was trying not to scream). He thanked the lady at the desk before dragging the boy infront of him out of the office.

Minghao just followed to wherever Mingyu was leading him. He didn't have the heart to leave him again after the many years of not seeing him. If anything, Minghao just didn't want to admit that he missed the taller boy really badly.
