Me: Don't talk or you'll lower the IQ of the entire street. ( Did you catch that Sherlock reference?)
First of all, one does not simply believe in aliens because they are "cute" (LOTR reference). People believe in aliens because THEY WANT TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE NOT THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE UNIVERSE, or for some other similar reason.
Second, we don't know how aliens look like. For all we know, they would be so tiny we wouldn't be able to see them with our naked eyes. Or they could look just like us.
Believing in aliens is like your birthday party . You know that you're going to get a gift, you just don't know what the gift will look like. Or maybe something like that.
Clearly, people who say they believe in aliens because they are cute have been watching a lot of cartoons. And they didn't actually appreciate scientific discovery and advancement. They were just random snobs.
