Sailing

Niall- You and your brother have always enjoyed sailing together. Since Niall is busy on tour, you haven't been able to go sailing with him. You were sailing and Opti when he left, and now your other brother Greg started teaching you how to sail a Pixel. You wanted to surprise Niall when he came back from tour.

*When Niall comes back from tour*

*Niall's POV*

I got a text from Y/N saying to meet me at the docks where our boats are kept, When I got off the plane and then drove over to the club, After I parked, I started walking toward the dock. When I saw Y/N, I called out her name, and her beautiful blue eyes lit up and she ran over to hug me. I scooped her in my arms, "Hey princess! I missed you so much!" I noticed that my shirt was getting wet where her face was, I pulled Y/N's face and saw that she was crying. " Princess, what's wrong?" "N-nothing. I just missed you so much!" "Aw, princess, I missed you too. Now why did you want me to come here?" "I wanted to go sailing with you. I have a surprise. Come on!" Y/N grabbed my hand and pulled me to the Pixel dock. I was surprised that we weren't going to the Opti dock. "Princess, why are we going to the Pixel dock? I thought you couldn't sail them yet." "Yes I can! That was my surprise! I wanted to surprise you by being able to sail a Pixel. We can sail together again!" She says smiling up at me. "Okay, princess. Do you want me to help you rig?" "No. I think I got it. I just need help putting the mainsail on the boom." Y/N and I go to the Junior clubhouse and grab our sails and rudder. We head back down to the dock, and Y/N gets right to work. She steps onto our Pixel and looks to make sure the lines aren't tangled. "Ni? Can you do the knot on the jib? I forgot how to do it." "Sure." I go up to the jib and grab the jib line and tie and 8-knot. Once I finish that, I sit back down and watch. "Ni? I can't do this part!!" Y/N says frustrated. I go over to her and attach the mainsail to the boom. "Thanks, Ni." "Sure thing princess. Lets push the boat in and then get going. Do you want me to start steering?" "I want to steer out of the moorings. Then you can steer the rest of the time." We push the boat into the water, and Y/N gets in while I untie the bowline. I then hop in and we start going out of the moorings.

*Out of the moorings*

Y/N hands me the tiller and then I start steering. There is a lot of wind, and I hope Y/N can deal with it. We have one of the dockmasters set a port triangle for us, and we take turns skippering and crewing. After we do that a few times each, we practice roll tacks and roll jibes. Y/N has really improved since we last went sailing. She wasn't even in a Pixel!

After a while, the wind starts picking up. A huge gust of wind comes and the boat almost capsizes. We heel the boat straight again but I feel Y/N shaking. We are starting to head back to the club since the wind is starting to pick up so much. I hand her the tiller but she shakes her head. I make a crash stop and lower the mainsail so we don't go anywhere. "Y/N, princess, what's wrong?" "I-I'm s-scared of the w-wind," she says looking at the water and hugging herself. "Princess, there's nothing to be afraid of. The worst thing that can happen is you get wet. I won't let anything happen to you as long as I can control it." O-Okay, Ni. Thanks," she says scooting over to hug me. "No problem, princess. Now let's go back to the dock, de-rig and we can call mom if you can stay at my house tonight. We can watch movies and cuddle, your favorite!" "Yes,Ni I would love to!" She has a smile on her face once again. "There's my princess!" 

Louis (age 7)

Today our family is going sailing. Mum split us up into groups while she stays on the motor boat with Ernest and Doris. I'm with Y/N since I haven't spent a lot of time with her as my other sisters. I came back from tour a week ago, and I am trying to spend a full day with each of my sisters. My buddies keep asking me to come over, so I do when I can. Y/N even asked Mum and Dad if she could sail with me, which I think is so cute.
