"Run Katty just run don't fight"
"But daddy Mummy I can fight and help" I held up my fist blocking my face and throwing a few punches. I saw dad smile and mum gave a little giggle my Dad he is the alpha of my pack the Dry Land pack there is over 10 thousand of us. My name is katty and I am six years old and our pack is just about to be attacked by roughs they out number us by thousands and my dad taught me how to be a warrior. "No sweetie you are special and you must leave"
"But I don't want to leave you daddy or mummy no I wont go" I start crying as I run up to my mum and dad's leg that are next to each other and I hug them tight. "Mummy will go with you to help you stay safe sweetie I love you Katty" Dad bent down and hugged me tightly as I cried more. "No daddy come too we stay a family please"
"Katty Remember that bed time story I told about that strong little girl who ran and never looked back and she became very strong?"
"Yes daddy but she had a special necklace that kept her fighting."
"Katty you are that girl here take this I was giving this when my dad made me take over and became Alpha. It has been passed down to the next Generation it was passed down to my great dad who passed it to my dad who passed it to me and now I am passing it to you. it has been through thousands of generations back to when Troy Toby Rohnee Started this pack" As daddy spoke he placed the necklace over my neck and it fit perfectly. It was gold and it was shaped like a hook with tribal writing on it. "Take this necklace with you everywhere you go don't take it off ever and remember to keep on running. With mummy ok I know you will be safe."
"But daddy I want to stay and fight and help isn't that what a good Luna and Alpha do?"
"Yes it is Katty but you have to leave to keep our pack Alive." Daddy started to cry and so did mummy. Dad hugged me tight and kissed my fore head "I love you katty for ever and ever"
"I love you too daddy for infinity and beyond" as I said that I put my left hand on my hip and with my right hand I pointed to the sky. which made mum and dad laugh "Now go with mum go katty I will all ways be in here" dad poked my heart.
"And daddy you too remember I will be in here too." and I poked his heart. "You are too mature for a six year old." dad kissed my head again and pushed me away. and we walked to the door when Jason came in Dad's Beta he was panting for air. "Alpha they have attacked"
"Go I will be there in two" the Beta nodded at my dad and ran back out the door. Dad carried me with mum behind us out the back door where pack members are fighting and being killed. Dad gave me to mum and he kissed her passionately "I love you Cala"
"I love you too Charlie" Mum started to cry and she ran at wolf speed with me in her arms. "I love you daddy!" I yelled and cried out at the same time. Just as I saw his head get ripped off I screamed and Mum screamed out in pain as she felt her mate, Husband and lover die. Mum kept on running to our safe home which was our home. Mum stopped running all of a sudden and I wet flying into the air and I screamed wanting to be back in my mums arms again. I landed on my feet like my dad told me. "Mummy!" I yelled as I saw a different rough tare her head off I screamed in pain. As now I am the only living pack member left. And I could feel the pack member souls around my body protecting me from death.
A big brown and white wolf came up to me and he shifted into human form not bothering to cover up. He was tall and had brown hair. I heard the last of my pack screams as the roughs killed them all. "Where do you think your going young lady?" the man spoke to me like trash. "Away from you go away" and with that I ran for my life I kept running till the man grabbed me. I turned around in his arms and bit his cheek leaving my bite marks in his right cheek and I got past all layers of skin I knew that because blood started to come out of my bite marks.. He dropped me to the ground and shifted again. I was moving back slowly as I saw the anger in his eyes. I tripped on a root of a tree and feel on my butt. and I moved back using my legs and arms but I wasn't making much progress. The angry man came closer to me he raised his paw and sliced from my right cheek down along my neck then he glided his large paw down the center of my chest and my stomach and down further. I was screaming in pain. As I could feel my blood flowing out of my body.
"Dom leave her she is dead anyways we killed them all lets go" Was the last thing I heard before I fell into darkness.
When I woke up I was in my bed room healed but with the scars that I got when I was attacked I felt something warm against my chest I grabbed it remember it was the hook my daddy gave me I pulled it out from under my shirt. The Golden hook was glowing as I could feel everyone's soul from the past to when the pack started to now. Holding those who have died and passed on to a better place but part of them were with me now "I will never take off this necklace for ever that is a promise to you daddy" I whispered I felt a wet nose touch my right arm. I can't smell so I didn't know what it was I was born not being able to smell. I looked to my right taking my eyes off the Dry Land's Necklace I will call it that now. I saw this cute little puppy it was brown with white paws and a white stripe along it's muzzle and it's chest. The dog started barking and it rolled on it's back it was a boy "Banshie" I called it and he jumped up and down accepting the name he gave me and I know we will be good friends from now on.
