New Day New Me?

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, blindly stretching my hand out to turn it off.

I rose up yawning and scratching the back of my head.

Removing the cover from my feet and I made my way into the bathroom.

I walk by the mirror and took a small glance at my messy hair...'Yikes'.

I flinch at the sight. 'I'll get this handled hopefully.' I took my brush and tried to tame it down.

"Owe owe owe." The brush yanked at my hair. Staring at the my hair chunk I groaned, sometimes I wish hair doesn't get all messy when I'm asleep.

Trying to fix it is very painful.

After I finished in the bathroom I make my way back into my bedroom and went to pick out what I wanted to wear.

Ripped black jeans, white one shouldered top, and high top black converse. I run in the shower and decided to use my mango shampoo.

I felt like today I should be happier since today is a new day and a sign things will get better.

I quickly got dressed and put my hair in a neat bun. Hard to believe earlier my hair looked like a squirrel nest.

I make a small smile at the thought and headed downstairs.

My mom was already busy getting ready for work but she managed to already have breakfast prepared for me, although another plate seemed to be missing.

She was at the coffee machine and pouring herself some for the go. "Good Morning Fumi." "Good Morning Mom, where is Fuji?"

Mom was making her way to the door, she turned.

"You're sister left early. Something about about getting ready for senior prank. Did u want me to drive you to school before I go?"

I shook my head, "No its okay I can take the bus." She nods then leaves.

I picked my bag and ran out. I sigh deeply and gazed at the beautiful blue sky with the bright yellow sun shinning down at me.

I walked down the bus stop and waited until the bus arrives. I later walked into the school gates, then I saw Sento walking so I ran up from behind and squeezed her.

"Good morning, Sento." She giggles, "Morning Fumi, how are you?"

Just when I was about to answer Gina sneaked attack the both of us and made the both of us fall on top of each other like dominos.

She laughs hysterically, "I got the both of you again!"

Sento and I stood up and head lock Gina. "Oh you think you're funny, eh?"

Sento said rubbing her hair making it messy. All three of us laughed and we made our way inside the school building.

We changed our shoes. Gina looked at the ceiling eyes closed and smiled.

"Guys you wouldn't believe what happened yesterday."

Sento raised a brow,"You ate a salad?" Gina sarcastically laughed.

"Actually,I met someone. He's such a hottie and I noticed he likes the same ice cream I do!"

Sento laughed,"Is that really all you need to date him?"

She shook her head,"Well I met someone too, we went to Golden Bucks and talked for hours."

She held her school books tightly. "It was magical." I smiled," That's so nice. Maybe you guys could double date in the future."
