"She was talking about these crazy things... and I never understood what she said! All I understood was that she was the girl that I stay up every night thinking about," George smiled as he spoke to Max. Only recently had he noticed how he liked a certain friend of his.
That friend being (y/n).
His Australian friend burst out laughing, making George roll his eyes and clench his phone tighter. This has been the sixth time Max teased George about the situation.
W̶h̶i̶c̶h̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶w̶h̶y̶ ̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶i̶d̶n̶'t̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶g̶o̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶M̶a̶x̶ ̶a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶i̶t̶.
"Look I know it's fucked coming from a guy like me but you actually have a girlfriend! So you should know about how I should confront (y/n) about it," George spoke into his phone, multitasking by playing around with a beat on his laptop. A beat he may or may not be dedicating to this particular girl.
Yes, Max had known how to ask chicks out but he never once had to explain and give advice on how to. It just all seemed funny and a little adorable to him.
"–Plus, I've seen her turn down multiple guys when she goes out drinking with us. So it wouldn't be new to her if it came to me."
Max's laughs stopped when George mentioned her turning him down. The love-struck boy ran a hand through his hair at this, rubbing his neck with a sigh.
" 'kay, stop right there. She is NOT gonna turn ya down. Have you even seen how she has looked at you? Remember that one time at the bar when we asked her who she wanted to take 'er home after she got wasted during the filming of Cake 3?"
George shrugged and replied with a simple 'yes'.
"And who did she choose?"
He only shook his head as he said, "Me. But still, just because she sat in a car with me doesn't mean she likes m–,"
" 'member that time at the strip when (y/n) didn't want ya to get the private dance from the chick who offered?" Max did sort of have a point.
"But sti–,"
"Didn't she even seem a little jealous when you were even about to accept the offer?"
George only paused the audio from playing on his laptop while he thought about times he was with (y/n). She could be a little clingy and defensive about it but that was (y/n)! I mean, when she was with George, of course.
"Dude, just be yourself and ask her out. You even said yourself." Max laughed, hinting at George's old YouTube vids.
He sighed when he heard the line go dead, signaling him that Max had hung up.
Throwing his laptop behind him, he looked down at his phone; preparing to call (y/n) he took a deep breath and dialed her number (that he knew by heart) and waited for her to answer. His face was full of shock as he heard the Theme to Full House playing near his bedroom door.
Looking to his left he gasped in awe, looking at the girl he fell for.She stood there clad in a over-sized hoodie and leggings with her phone is hand, ringing, and a shy smile.
The phone call had already ended and dropped to the floor as George looked at her."Yeah... uhm. I–I have the key to your house."
