The alarm on my phone starts going off. Omg it can't be time for work. So instead of getting up, I just lay there...
The alarm goes off again.
Omg, I need to get up and get ready. Even if I didn't feel like going, I needed to get out of this house. My left eye is swollen and my head is pounding. I just hope i can make it through the day.
45min Later...
Damn its fuckin' freezing out here (it's winter). I step out of my two bedroom apartment, zip my coat all the way up to my neck and pull the hood on over my ears heading to my car. The ground is slippery as hell, and I better not fall or I'm calling in sick.
I finally make it to my car after mazing through the parking lot. My left eye is stinging and the cold air is making it worse.
"I hope Mia and Landon don't see this shit, maybe I should put on more concealer.
I got in my civic and started it.
I reach in my purse to find my concealer, so I dig deeper in the bottom to feel for the compact case. After pulling it out, I open it up and freak out.
"OMG! What the hell. This ain't enough to cover up shit."
I dab my finger into it and pat it on the areas that needed to be touched up.
"There! That should be unnoticeable." I pull out the lot and head to work.
