I Found You

Standing. Alone in this place they called Park.

Not too loud. No to quiet. Just the kind of noise I want to hear, I want to record in my head.

Birds are chirping. Wind's blowing. The sun's light to my face and feels the heat from it. Then suddenly,

Feet starts to move. Eyes starts to wander. I don't know where it would take me. I don't know what I'm looking for.

My heart starts to pound faster and faster and faster.

Mix emotions. Excited. Nervous and most especially

HAPPY

Then a smile starts to form in my face. Until my feet stops from walking. Eyes stops from wandering but my heart keeps on pounding.

And finally I have the answers to my questions.

Eye's locked to the one person who's sitting on the bench. Silently reading her book.

She's pretty.

I don't know how long I've been staring at her. All the people around me, gone. Only her I only see until she felt my presence.

She stopped from reading. Place her book beside her and slowly, slowly raise her head to meet my gaze.

She smiles the moment she saw me. She smiles, widely while slowly walking towards me. And I smiled, deep inside my heart, the moment she's in front of me.

We've been staring each other for a moment now. No words has escaped from our mouths until I felt a warm feeling I've been longing in my life.

She hugged me and I hugged her back. So tight that we can barely breathe but it doesn't matter 'cause we missed each other. So much.

"I found you"

The only words I've said to her and a sobs I starts to hear from her.

After all these years, this girl inside my arms is still the girl I love. The girl who once broke my heart. The girl who I've been looking for in my whole life.

"I have found you, my heart founds you and this time I will never let go of you."
