Beautiful Miracle

Chapter 1

Maygan was brought out of her head by Kenzie huffing in annoyance.

"Where the hell is that girl?" Kenzie yelled from the lounge in the Austin Airport. Maygan shook her head and sighed,

"She said she would be here in 15 minutes you grumpy troll." Maygan told her as she went back to texting her mom in Ohio that they made it to Austin, Texas in one piece and that they were safe.

"Why don't you go to the food court and get us something while we wait," Kenzie looked at Maygan like she just offended her dogs pinky toe.

"Why should I get you anything?" Kenzie huffed crossing her arms.

"Cause I'm your bestfriend and you love me." Maygan said as she pouted her lips and fluttered her eyes dramatically. Kenzie scoffed and started making her way to the food court, grumbling about how Maygan is lucky that she loved her. Maygan chuckled and went back to her phone.

Genevieve had called them and asked them to come and stay with her for a month, since it was almost Thanksgiving and she wanted to spend it with her two bestfriends slash sisters with her family, and that she needed to tell them something important that couldn't be said over the phone or video chat. Which, is convenient for Maygan, because she had something she needed to tell the both of them.

Kenzie thought she was gonna get a divorce from her husband, Jared, which would be ridiculous because they have been married for four years, plus they have a four year old, and they still act like a lovesick couple. Maygan thought that she was gonna tell them that she was pregnant again, which would be exciting cause that would mean she would be a godmother again to another one of them precious angels, or devil spans as Kenzie calls them.

Maygan's phone buzzes and it's Kenzie asking what she wanted from the coffee shop,

'Just get me a chocolate muffin and a vanilla ice coffee.'

'You basic bitch.'

'Shut up, asshole'

Maygan laughed and looked around to see if she could find Genevieve in the crowd of people swarming her even though she knew that she would hear her before she even saw her face. After landing, Maygan went to the bathroom and made a call to her lawyer to make sure everything went through and that Eric filled out the papers to terminate his Parental Rights over the unborn child she was carrying. When Maygan found him that day in their bed with some other woman, she wasn't upset like she thought she would be. She wasn't crying hysterically, throwing things or even trying to attack the woman in her bed, just told her to get dressed and get out.

That night she told Eric that she was pregnant and asked if he wanted anything the baby, when he shook his head 'no' Maygan nodded.

"Okay, I'll have my lawyer draw up papers and see if we can get a court date set before the end of the month to get it all finalized before I leave and you wont have any connection to my baby, Ok?" Hazel eyes looked intently into his Green eyes, never wavering. He nodded and got up and started getting dressed as Maygan went to the kitchen to get herself some water.

Eric came out of the room fully clothed and came into the kitchen where Maygan has been since she left the bedroom. Eric stepped towards Maygan cautiously, fearing she might blow up at any minute.

"I'm sorry, May-"Eric started to say but was cut off by Maygan and she turned around to look at him.

"Save it, I don't want to hear it. I've spent two years of my life with you thinking, 'Hey, maybe he's the one. This is the man your gonna marry.' Boy, was I wrong. Is this the first time it's happened or have there been more encounters?" Maygan questioned him,
