Beautiful Miracle

Chapter 2

The ride to the Padalecki house was eventful to say the least. It was around 10 O'clock when Gen and the kids came and got Maygan and Kenzie from the airport and it was about a half hour drive from the there to the house. Kenzie sat up front with Genevieve While Maygan sat in the back with the kids and kept them entertained and not even 19 minutes in the car, Thomas was passed out in his car seat.

JJ was telling Maygan a story about monsters trying to tickle little kids into eating their vegetables and that the only person who could stop was the cookie monster. Maygan smiled the whole time and listen intently to her story, giving out the right reactions when needed. Maygan was a Child Psychiatrist, so she knew what to do to make the children feel at ease with her and talk to her. Soon after JJ finished her story about the tickle monster, she too was passed out in her car seat.

"Can I just keep her?" Maygan asked as she looked at JJ sleeping peacefully in her seat, Gen chuckled and shook her head in amusement,

"I don't think her daddy would like that too much," Genevieve said, glancing at her through the rearview mirror, "She's his only princess at the moment."

"What?" Maygan asked confused "You mean him and his wife aren't..." she trailed off not wanting to finish it for fear that JJ would hear it. Gen nodded her head as she pulled into her homes' driveway.

"I'm afraid so," Genevieve said as she put the car in park and got out. Kenzie followed and went to bags while Maygan and Gen got the kids, who were both sound asleep. They all walked into the house and Gen and Maygan put the kids down on the huge sofa that was in the living room. When the had the kids covered with blankets, Maygan turned to Genevieve and gave her a knowing look. Gen smirked and nodded towards a closed door that she guessed Jared was in.

Gen Told Kenzie to watch the kids while she and Maygan tried to scare her husband. Kenzie nodded and they were off. Gen opened the door quietly and inside there were two figures, but the one Maygan zeroed in on was the one sitting on the left with his hair in a ridiculous man bun. She crept up behind him and was about to yell,

"I know your behind me, Maygan" she halted in her wind up to scare him and let her breath of air she was holding in out with a huff,

"Well Damn, how did you know I was behind you?" she said

"I could smell you from beyond the door," he said getting up from his spot on the couch and grinning. When he and Gen first were going out, he was a little uncomfortable with your banter with her and other people and your dirty sense of humor, but after awhile he started joining in on the bantering and joke telling and he basically became like your older brother.

Maygan laughed and slapped him on the chest,

"Says the guy with the horrendous man bun." Maygan countered as she went up to hug the gigantic man in front of her.

"Hey, you can think your bestfriend for that." he said as he hugged her like Maygan had did to Gen at the Airport. Maygan stepped back and looked at Jared like she was studying him.

"No, I know my Genny's work, and that not it." He laughed in pulled her into another hug, which she gladly returned. One thing was for sure, the Padalecki's knew how to give awesome hugs. Maygan stepped away from Jared when she remembered that Jared wasn't alone when she came in with Gen. Speaking of which, where is her partner in crime? Then it hit her.

"she texted you and told you I was coming in here, didn't she?" she asked even though she knew the answer and was only confirmed when Jared nodded his head. Maygan laughed and walked over to who she assumed was Jared's bestfriend and co worker.

"Hey, I'm Maygan," She said as she stuck out her hand for him to shake. "You must be Jensen, the father of that beautiful and amazing little girl." He smiled at the mention of JJ.

He had an amazing smile, similar to JJ's but also different. He had what looked to be emerald greens eyes and braud shoulders, which showed he worked out from time to time and bowed legs that seem to fit him a some way. She let go of his hand and smiled big at him.

"Seeing as you guys just started your hiatus about, what, last week? I'll be seeing a lot of you and JJ as she is very found over my Tommybear." Maygan grinned thinking out how close the two were.

"Your still calling him Tommybear? I thought that you would have stopped by now." Jared said. Maygan looked at him like she just grew two heads.

"He will forever be my Tommybear no matter what and my Godson loves it, so what's the harm?" Maygan said crossing her arms over her chest. Jared just chuckled and shook his head, God, he missed her.

"Oh, do you know what Gen has to tell me and Kenzie tonight?" Jared didn't say anything, which a sign that he knew, but wasn't gonna tell her. Maygan sighed and just then a small body crashed into Maygan.

"Aunt MayMay, come play with me and JJ, We're gonna play knight! and you have to be the monster!"

"Well you better run before I get you and the princess!" Maygan exclaimed at she ran after a screaming and giggling Tom and soon the house was once again filled with life.

"So that's Maygan?" Jensen asked as he saw Maygan chase Tom from the room. 'She's beautiful' he thought. His Divorce from Danneel became final two months ago and it had been the hardest thing he had ever had to go through. She told him that she couldn't handle him being away for long periods of time and that she didn't feel that spark she felt when they first started seeing each other. He and Danneel had joint custody of JJ and this was his week with her.

He knew how hard it had to be for her. Not know why her mommy and daddy weren't together anymore or why she was going to different places and not staying in her own home. His poor baby girl is in the middle of this and he never wanted that to happen, ever.

"Yeah, that's her," Jared said to his bestfriend, "She and Gen had been friends since high school and is now the godmother of our child and soon to be child." He always thought of you as his annoying sister that he never wanted but would fight for you in a heartbeat.

"Is she single?" Jensen asked masking his hope as curiosity. Jared looked at him skeptically but shrugged it off as nothing.

"Last I heard, she had a boyfriend back in Ohio, but I don't know if that is still true or not. Why"

"Just wanted to know.." he said like there was nothing to it. Jared looked at him and it finally clicked, Jared smiled wide and turn towards him with a knowing smile,

"You like Maygan, don't you?" he stated more than asked. Jensen blushed, but cleared his throat and mumbled a 'no' but he was already found out.

Jared nodded his head, he couldn't wait to tell Genevieve about this tonight. She was gonna flip and he knew that she would try her damnedest to get them together.

"You wanna finish watching the game or do you wanna play with the three kids we have in the living room?" Already knowing the answer, the got up, Jared shut off the tv and they made their was into the chaos of noise that was the living room.
