It was Tuesday morning. 8am Mackenzie was still asleep. Maddie was on the phone with Principle Malone! ''I get that, but they cannot make fun of her because of cancer!'' Maddie said
''Mrs. Ziegler, its a tough time, I understand, but Mackenzie needs to face it''
''Face it?'' Maddie asked ''Are you crazy, your just going to let the bullying continue?''
''We cant really do much about it'' Malone said
''I'm surprised you have a job'' Maddie said
''You should watch what you say''
''Well I'm at it, I'm removing Mackenzie from school, From now on she will be home-school or be in a new one! I will not tolerate her being bullied!'' Maddie said
''You cant just take her out of school''
''Well I just did!'' Maddie said hanging up on the man.
Maddie walked over to the stove, she grabbed a bowl, the butter and 3 egg's. She turned the stove on, cracked eggs, mixed it with milk then put butter into the pan. She got 4 pieces of toast out. She made 2, and placed two pieces of French toast on the kitchen table, with a glass of orange juice and syrup. She ran upstairs and woke Kenzie, ''Breakfast'' Maddie said
Kenzie slowly got out of her bed, she looked in the mirror and brushed her hair. She walked down and sat at the table, ''Ohhh. My favorite'' Kenzie said
''I know, I made it just for you'' Maddie smiled
''So, am I going to school after the conference?'' Mackenzie asked
''Kenz, I kinda took you out'' Maddie said, Kenzie put the fork with a piece of French toast down, Syrup drenched it. ''You did?'' Mackenzie said looking confused.
''Yea...'' Maddie said
''YOUR THE BEST!'' Kenzie screamed jumping up and hugging her sister.
''K so your on in fifteen'' Mark the producer said
''Great'' Maddie said patting Kenzie on the shoulder. ''What do I say?'' Kenzie asked
''Just what your heart wants you too, Be true, be powerful, be you!'' Amanda said giving Mackenzie a smile, and a hand shake.
Mackenzie did her hair, put on a dress, did her makeup and stood backstage ready to enter.

Amanda took the stage. ''Hello Ladies and gentlemen, Girls and boys!'' Amanda said
''Today we are welcoming a special guest, someone who had recently developed cancer. She has been so strong, and has kept it together, welcome dancer, singer, 13 year old. Mackenzie Ziegler to the stage!'' Amanda said clapping, The crowd screaming and cheering
Mackenzie took center stage. ''Okay, Calm down please'' Mackenzie spoke ''Now everyone knows I have cancer, id like to say a few words, and then sing a song. 5 Days ago I was told I had cancer, I had 12 tests done, I had 3 things of blood taken from me! Did 2 MRI'S and then after 10 long hours, I was told the news. I have cancer. Of course I was scared, shocked, I still am! Cancer isn't the best, but it is the worst! I have 3 months until I pass away, or so they say. I don't know whats gonna happen to me, or my family once I'm gone! Its hard to know I'm not gonna get to live a full life, like most will. I'm gonna try to fight this! But I likely wont be able to loose it. I have had cancer for 3 weeks, but yet I just found out. I have been really sick, Memory loss, Gaging, Throwing up, Fever! Bladder infection, some hair falls out, not lots, And then I'm bullied because I have cancer, but they have no clue how much it sucks! How much it hurts! How bad I felt about myself'' Kenzie said tearing up! ''It isn't fair that such young people, like you and I, have to suffer in pain with this!'' Mackenzie said.
Everyone began to clap! ''That's all I have to say, but I have prepared a song, I'm gonna be singing ''fight song''
Music began to play over the arena, Mackenzie's eyes were watering. She held one hand to the microphone, glanced at Maddie who was smiling proud! She turned to the crowd and placed her second hand on the mic.
''Like a small boat, On the ocean.... Sending big waves, into motion, Like how a single word, can make a heart open. I might only have one life, but I can make an explosion. And all the things I didn't say, wreaking balls' inside my brain, I will scream out loud tonight can you here my voice.....'' Kenzie sang pausing. She looked like she was gonna cry. Everyone looked at her teary eyed. So amazed by what she was doing, how brave she really was.... ''This is my fight song, take back my life song! Prove I'm alright song, My powers turned on, Starting right now ill be strong! This is my fight song, and I don't reallt care if nobody else believes, cause I still got a lot of fight left in me!'' Mackenzie sang, she looked around everyone clapping. She saw things go blurry, She turned and went to walk then smash! It was black....
''Mackenzie?'' Amanda called
The crowd scared looked at the girl's body as it was on the stage lifeless.
''MACKENZIE!'' Maddie cried rushing to her side, She checked for a pulse. No response.
Maddie hugged her ''This is your fight song! So be strong, please.... Mackenzie please'' Maddie cried, Still no response. Maddie dug her head into Kenzie's chest tears staining her blue dress.
''Wake up!'' Amanda cried
Mackenzie then awoken. ''That was amazing!'' Mackenzie said standing. Maddie cried in joy that her sister was alive, and safe!
''Thank you for having me, Remember, don't give up on loved ones' or yourself!'' Mackenzie said ''Promise me''
''WE PROMISE'' The crowd screamed.
Mackenzie took Maddie's hand. As they walked out of the arena and to the car. Back at the house was Melissa and Dr. Narco.
''Hi?'' Mackenzie said staring at her mom
''Hi hunny'' Melissa said
''Who's our guest?'' Maddie asked
''Doctor Narco. She's here to help Mackenzie, in everyway she can. She is here from boston'' Melissa said
''Nice to meet you'' Mackenzie smiled
''Nice to meet you too'' Mackenzie said.
''We saw the news'' Melissa said
''I think a death nerve was triggered'' Narco said
