Mom and Dad,
I know that you want me to succeed and want what is best for me. I know you may not like the choices I have made but I'm not myself if I live the life you want me to live. We don't always get along but the love is still there. If it weren't for you both I wouldn't be here. I don't always make the best choices for me in my life but I am just trying the best I can here. Sometimes I feel like you would rather I would just do what you want but if I stayed there I would have been miserable. I will do my best to make sure I get what I want from life and I will try my best always but I'm not always going to want what you want for me. Maybe it will be different later on but right now I am content on my own. I am still very thankful though that I have the both of you in my life. One day it could be better between us.
