Chapter 20

Chapter 20-Don't take a step!

{Mitch's POV}

Abby? Wait. Abby!! I thought to myself.

I bent down to see if she was ok. She wasn't waking up. I put my hand behind her head.

"Abby, Abby," I repeated her name. No motion. What is wrong with her?

Suddenly I felt my hand wet, red, bloody. My hand was bloody from the back of her head.

I turned her over and looked closely. How could her head get bloody? I kneed her in the stomach. How is her head..,

My thought was interrupted.

"Mitch!" An evil voice came over the speaker,"Why did you do that to poor inisent Abby?"

"I didn't!" I yelled back.

"Then who did?" The speaker said back.

I had no idea what was going on!?! I looked down and Abby was no longer laying there. There was a stream of blood on the floor.

I followed it down the dark hallway. The lights shut off as I walked farther down. Then the blood turned the corner and it went under a door.

There was flashing lights, you could see the dim lights changing. Flashing on and off.

I pushed the door open and Abby was straped down to a moving machine that spun around and around. Up and down over and about. Abby was straped down to it, crying.

I walked in and the door shut behind me. Making a loud boom and then one spot light turned on showing me where the guy was.

"Take one more step and I will suck 1 year of life from her!" He yelled.

I stood still then I took one little step.

The lights started to flash brightly and I was blinded for a second. Then I looked back at Abby and she looked much younger than she used to be.

She was 16 now! She used to be 17!! She looked much younger and she was! He really did suck life from her! He sucked a year of life away. How?

I wasn't thinking and I took one more step. I regretted it so much.

The machine started to flash again and Abby looked 15 now.

"She is now 15, you took two steps, I take two years." The guy said over to me. "Abby, how do you feel?" He asked her.

She didn't budge. She tryed to mumble. Then the mumbling turned into screaming. I ran over to her and tryed to break her free. She looked like she had no idea where she was, but she knew me.

"Mitch, you silly boy" The guy said. He walked over to the Machine. "Say goodbye!" He said then started to turn the machine.

"NOOO!!" I screamed then pushed Abby out of it and I fell into it. Then a bright flash of red and I suddenly felt very weird.
