(Late) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I am sososooooo sorry! I know I said I'll update shortly and this is the only chapter I took over a month to update. I'm really sorry, it's just that there's school and all I get really busy with and I didn't really have the time to update. Oh my god and on a cliff hanger too! Aw guys i feel so guilty now! I won't do this again but what I will do is.. I don't really know if people like this story or not and if u don't like it why should I update? So I'll only update as soon as I reach at least 20 votes. Sorry for wasting ur time on a really long A/N I had to type this.

Chapter 6- Things start to take a turn

As they sit down my mom finishes what she was saying.

"So as I was saying, there's something I want you two to hear. We have a surprise! For your graduation, and now that you're adults, I wanted to relive the memory. So your dad, your parents, and I have decided......"

*Continue*

"......to take you two back to the lake!" She finishes.

We all cheered in excitement.

"Yay That's awesome! I miss the lake so much!! We used to go all the time and have so much fun!" I exclaimed.

"Ya, we haven't been there in years! I bet it will be a blast!" Layla adds on to my thought.

"This is gonna be awesome, I can't wait! So when will this family trip be? Trevor asks.

"Oh the lake, we're leaving tomorrow at noon" my mom says happily.

Wow, I remember all the memories, all the amazing things that took place in the lake. The games we used to play as kids, the-- wait a second, i just realized what my mom said.

Tomorrow.

TOMORROW.

THE CONCERT'S TOMORROW.

no no no no.

THIS IS NOT GONNA HAPPEN TO ME NOW.

NOT TODAY.

"But mom, you can't! Not tomorrow, another day please? After tomorrow? Anything!" I pleaded as fast as I could.

I love the lake and it was amazing, but I've been waiting to meet One Direction for so long! And I can't just let it go and do something else that day.

And don't say 'oh this isn't going to be the last time! they'll come again, trust me.' Well, no! You're wrong. We've been in the fandom from the start and waiting for this ever since. I don't think there'll be another time like this.

"Oh my god Dana! The concert! It's tomorrow! You can't mom, please just tomorrow. We can't miss it, we've been waiting for so long!" Dana finally speaks as she realizes.

My mom furrows her eyebrows at us before she starts

"umm, I don't know, we've also been planning this for a while, and I don't think we're gonna make any changes now."

What. No. She did not just say that.

"Besides, you're not gonna miss a family trip to go to some concert, are you? And it's not just a regular family trip like others, you actually enjoy it there. Just look at the excitement in your faces when we said that we were going back to the lake. No, that's it. Mary, it's final, we're going to the lake and tomorrow. No changes! It's confirmed." Ms. Simpson added on. Mary is my mom and Grace is Layla's. But I called her Ms. Simpson because, well.. I can't call her Grace. And if you were wondering what Layla calls my mom. I'm Dana Martin, so she calls her Ms. Martin.

We both moaned and kept on nagging until the food got here.

When they say family trip, yes, they mean my family, and Layla's family. It's because our families are just so close and we are best friends for all those years, they consider us all family.
